1 banana (room temperature, broken into chunks)
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 drizzle maple syrup or honey, if desired**

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender in the order listed, breaking the banana into pieces. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary, and adding a bit more liquid if necessary.
  • Taste and if necessary, add a drizzle of maple syrup depending on the ripeness of your pineapple (you likely will not need it). Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 1 day.

1 ripe mango
½ ripe pineapple
2 bananas
2 limes
300ml coconut drink
1 kiwi fruits
½ tbsp omega seed mix
1 tbsp goji berries
2-3 tsp desiccated coconut

  • Method 1. Slice the mango flesh off the stone, then slice away the skin. Scoop the mango into a large blender. Slice the top off the pineapple and halve it. Slice the skin off one half, using the tip of a small knife to scoop out any woody 'eyes' in the flesh. Roughly chop the pineapple half and add to the blender. Peel and break in 1 banana (save the other banana for later). 2. Finely grate in the lime zest and squeeze in the juice from both limes. Pour in the coconut drink and blitz until smooth and thick. 3. Pour or scoop the mango smoothie mix into 2 breakfast bowls. Slice the skin off the kiwi fruit, then slice it and arrange the slices on top of the mango smoothie.
