- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash.
- In a large mixing bowl combine mashed potatoes, cream cheese, onion, eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed for several minutes. Spoon mixture into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and top with crushed fried onions.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Steps:
- Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Add the potatoes and boil for about 15 mins or until tender. Transfer to a colander and drain well, then return to the pan and set over a very low heat for 2 mins to dry completely.
- Heat the milk and butter in a small pan, then pour over the potatoes. Remove from the heat, then mash potatoes using an electric hand whisk or potato masher. Tip in the créme fraîche and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth and creamy. Season with pepper and a pinch of salt.

- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Dump the lean ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onions to the pan.
- Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
- Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan.
- Add the diced green peppers to the pan and stir well.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, gravy mix, salt and pepper to the pan.
- Stir all of the ingredients together well.
- Dump the ground beef mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the ground beef.
- Prepare the instant mashed potatoes according to the directions on the package.
- Spread the prepared mashed potatoes on top of the cheese.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the mashed potatoes are just starting to brown around the edges of the pan. 23-26 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and leave the casserole to sit for a few minutes before scooping and serving.

- Add half the butter to a large skillet on medium-high heat and brown the beef well, getting a nice sear on it before stirring each time, about 5-6 minutes.

- Wash and dry your potatoes and place them on a sheet pan. Drizzle a tbsp of oil onto the center of the pan, then use your hands to rub the oil into the skin of each potato. Use a fork, or the tip of a knife, to make small holes all over the surface of the potatoes. Sprinkle them with a tsp of salt and a 1/2 tsp of pepper. Place the pan of potatoes into the oven and bake for an hour.
- Season the steak with the worcestershire and season salt. Toss to coat completely. In a large saute pan, heat the remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and sear until browned. Using a slotted spoon, remove the meat from the pan to a clean dish.
- Using the same pan, sauté the mushrooms for 10 minutes, or until the water extracted from them has almost completely evaporated. Add the peppers, onions, and garlic to the pan and sauté until the mixture is a nice, golden brown color- about 6 minutes. Mix the veggies in with the cooked beef and set the container holding them in a heated oven to keep warm.
