Peppermint Patty Twist Martini Food

PEPPERMINT PATTY MARTINI

Steps:

• I prefer Absolute Vodka (actually I prefer Grey Goose or Level, but I can afford Absolute). 1 1/2 ounces equals 1 jigger.
• Combine all ingredients in shaker.
• Strain and serve in chilled martini glass (easy way to chill a martini glass is to let it sit a couple of minutes with ice water in it).
• You will not get closer to a peppermint patty flavor than this.
• Enjoy.

PEPPERMINT PATTY COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Make cocoa mix as directed on package, using water instead of milk. In small bowl, stir together crème de cacao, schnapps and cognac; stir into hot cocoa.
• Pour mixture evenly into 4 Irish coffee glasses. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

PEPPERMINT MARTINI

Steps:

• Crush your peppermint candies - I placed mine in a zip bag and crushed them with a kitchen mallet, but a rolling pin or mortar and pestle would work just as well.
• Place the crushed candies in a shallow bowl wide enough to insert your martini glass in.
• Carefully run the corn syrup along the edge of your martini glass - alternatively, you can use water.
• Dip the martini glass into the crushed peppermints and rotate the glass to ensure even coverage. You want the entire edge of the martini glass to be covered with crushed peppermint.
• Place the vodka and cream in a cocktail shaker full of ice.
• Shake well to chill the cocktail, and then strain out into your martini glass.
• You can serve as-is, or add a twist by swirling the red icing into the top of your glass.
• (You can also run a toothpick or skewer through the red swirl to make it even more decorative.)

PEPPERMINT PATTY COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients.
• In a cocktail shaker , pour the vodka, cream liqueur, and peppermint schnapps. Fill with ice.
• Shake well .
• Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
• Garnish with peppermint patty candy. Serve and enjoy.

PEPPERMINT PATTIES

Steps:

• In a large mixing bowl, combine condensed milk and peppermint extract. Beat in enough confectioners' sugar, a little at a time, to form a stiff dough that is no longer sticky. Form into 1 inch balls, then place on waxed paper and flatten with fingers to form patties. Let patties dry at room temperature two hours, turning once.
• In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with shortening, stirring often. Remove from heat. Dip patties, one at a time, into chocolate by laying them on the tines of a fork and lowering the fork into the liquid. Let cool on waxed paper until set.

PEPPERMINT MARTINI

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shake with ice. Pour vodka, creme de menthe, and peppermint schnapps over the ice. Cover cocktail shaker and shake; strain into a martini glass.

Steps:

• To start preparing the peppermint patty martini, grab a cocktail shaker and add in one cup of ice cubes or crushed ice. Next, pour 30 ml of vodka, 30 ml of white crème de menthe, 30 ml of dark crème de cacao and 60 ml of half-and-half into the cocktail shaker loaded with ice. Now, screw the lid of the cocktail shaker on tightly, to prevent the drink from splashing out, and give it a couple of vigorous shakes, in order to make sure all the ingredients have blended together thoroughly. Then, hold a strainer over the martini glasses, and pour the peppermint patty martini into these - make sure no shards of ice make their way into your martini. As a final touch, garnish the glasses by hanging mini candy canes from the rims. Serve straight up and chilled.

HOT PEPPERMINT PATTY

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients.
• Pour the liqueurs into a warmed mug or Irish coffee glass .
• Fill with hot chocolate.
• If you like, top with whipped cream and garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate sprinkles. Serve and enjoy.

WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT MARTINI

Steps:

• Begin by preparing your martini glass. Rim the edge of the glass with white chocolate syrup; then dip it into crushed peppermint candies or crushed candy canes. Set glass aside.
• Add the white chocolate liqueur, vanilla vodka, creme de cacao, half and half, and peppermint schnapps to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and then strain into your prepared martini glass.

CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT MARTINI

Steps:

• Crush the candy cane with a kitchen mallet or rolling pin and place in a small bowl that is wide enough for the rim of your martini glasses to dip into. Melt your chocolate in the microwave in a small bowl, heating for 30 seconds, then stirring, then reheating as needed in 30 second increments. Delicately swirl your martini glass edge through the melted chocolate. Immediately run the martini glass rim through the crushed peppermint to allow it to stick to the rim of the glass. Set aside for the chocolate to dry as you prepare your cocktails.
• In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add your chocolate liquor, cream, peppermint vodka, cocoa powder and chocolate syrup. Shake well and then taste to adjust the flavoring, as needed.
• Pour the cocktail into your decorated martini glass.
• If you'd like a little swirl on top, carefully pour some cream in a swirl shape overtop of the martini and then drag a toothpick or skewer through the design to make it even more decorative.

CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT MARTINI

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker, add ice, cream, and liquors.
• Shake, Shake, Shake
• Strain into a martini glass rimmed with chocolate and crushed peppermints.

PEPPERMINT BARK MARTINI

Steps:

• Rim a martini glass with crushed candy canes or crushed peppermint bark.
• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add drink ingredients, shake and pour into rimmed martini glass.

PEPPERMINT PATTY TWIST MARTINI

Steps:

• Pour the ingredients except the Creme de Menthe into a shaker 3/4 full of cracked ice. Shake vigorously for a full minute. Strain your elixir into 2 chilled martini glasses. Top each glass with 1/2 of the Creme de Menthe. Garnish each glass with a peppermint patty.
