Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x4 inch baking pan.
- Sift together flour, soda and salt. In a large bowl, cream sugar and peanut butter together. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour and milk alternately, beating until smooth after each addition. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until well browned. Remove from the pan to cool. Store in a covered container.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Use a fork to blend in peanut butter and oil. Add egg and milk; mix well. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk and peanut butter until smooth; stir into flour mixture just until combined. Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan. , Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 50-60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. If desired, serve with jelly.

- 1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl; add peanut butter and sugar or syrup and mix. Add milk and mix well. Bake in a greased 8 1/2-by- 4 1/2 inch loaf pan in a moderate oven (350 degrees) 30 to 35 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter. Line with a strip of parchment paper so that it hangs over the narrow ends of the loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk and peanut butter until well blended. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and fold to combine. Fold in the peanut butter chips.
- Pour enough batter into the prepared loaf pan to fill it halfway up the sides. Place an even layer of chocolate bars on top of the batter and then top with the remaining batter. Bake until a cake tester comes out just clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool for 1 hour, then remove from the loaf pan.
PEANUT BUTTER BREAD
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 325 Fahrenheit (160 Celsius).
- In a mixing bowl or stand mixer sift in the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix together. If using a stand mixer keep the hook attachment on the slowest speed.
- Slowly pour in the milk, then add the peanut butter. When it is all combined pour the dough into an oiled baking dish, or on a floured counter top if you want to shape it into a ball.
- Place the baking vessel into the oven for about 55 minutes. The crust should be hard but crumble easily, and the inside should be soft and bread like.
- Serve with good butter and flaky sea salt.
1927 PEANUT BUTTER BREAD
I found this recipe in a cookbook of old American magazine recipes. This bread is good spread with jam for breakfast or you could make a jam banana sandwich which is excellent. For those with a peanut allergy you can use another nut butter like almond.

PEANUT BUTTER BREAD

- Gather the ingredients.

- Carefully remove the bread from the bread machine pan and cool on a wire rack.
