Peanut Butter Reindeer Food
PEANUT BUTTER REINDEER COOKIES
There is only one thing that's more delightful than homemade peanut butter cookies, and that's the same-dressed up as reindeer.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350ºF.
- Beat peanut butter, butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat until blended. Add combined flour and baking soda; mix well.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets. Bake 7 to 9 min. or until cookies are just set.
- Place 1 chocolate piece immediately in center of each cookie for a nose (press down slightly if cookies aren't flat enough), 2 chocolate chips for eyes, and 2 pretzel pieces at top of cookie for antlers. Carefully remove cookies to wire rack; cool completely.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Beat margarine, peanut butter, sugars, and egg thoroughly.
- Mix all dry ingredients (except pretzels and M&Ms) together and blend into margarine mixture.
- Roll dough into 24 large balls approximately 1 and 1/4" in diameter, and 24 smaller balls approximately 1" (a little less) in diameter.
- Position one small ball under one large ball on a cookie sheet, then lightly press down and together to form shape of reindeer.
- Press 2 pretzels into the top ball for antlers; add candy pieces for nose and eyes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove and let cool.
- Ideas: Red nose for Rudolph, brown for everyone else, and arrange in front of toy sled for edible centerpiece on kids' table.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375 degrees and place rack in center.
- Grease two baking sheets.
- In large mixer bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter, and sugars on medium speed until light, about 2 minutes.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake, one sheet at a time, until just set and bottoms are golden, 8-10 minutes.
- For each cookie, immediately place 1 red M&M or cherry half in center for nose, 2 chocolate chips for eyes, and 2 pretzel pieces on top of cookie for antlers.
- Transfer cookies on sheets to a wire rack and let cool completely.

- Pour cereal into a large mixing bowl. Next, prep a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper, set aside.
- Place chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Cook for 1 minute and stir. If it's not completely melted, put it back in for up to 30 seconds more. Once it's melted, add vanilla and mix. Pour it over your Chex Cereal and mix with a spatula until well coated.
- Take a large plastic Ziploc bag and place powdered sugar inside, then add chocolatey cereal. Close and begin to shake it up so that all the squares are evenly covered with sugar. Place the Reindeer Chow on the baking sheet and let it cool. Once you're ready to serve, add holiday M&MS or other season candy and chow down!!
