CREAM CHEESE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS RECIPE - (4/5)

Steps:
- 1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil, set aside. 2. Combine the softened cream cheese, 3 cups powdered sugar, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt in the large bowl of an electric mixer. 3. Mix the candy on medium speed for several minutes until the mixture is well-combined. If the dough appears to be too sticky, add the extra powdered sugar and mix until it is somewhat stiff but still pliable and not dry. 4. Using a teaspoon or a candy scoop, for the candy into small balls (about 1" in diameter or less) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Place the candy in the freezer or refrigerator to chill until set, about 20 minutes in the freezer or 1 hour in the refrigerator. 5. Once you are ready to dip the balls, melt or temper the chocolate according to your preference. Make sure to melt the chocolate in short intervals in the microwave or over a double burner, so that it does not overheat. 6. Dip the peanut butter balls into the melted chocolate using dipping tools or two forks. Return the dipped balls to the baking sheet, and while the chocolate is still wet, top each ball with a peanut half. Repeat with remaining candy. 7. Place the dipped candies in the refrigerator to set the chocolate. Store the balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Steps:
- 1. Soften cream cheese. Beat well, then cream in brown sugar, peanut butter and confectioners' sugar. Add vanilla extract. Fold in peanut butter and chocolate chips, and peanut butter cups. Refrigerate in a bowl for 3 hours. Form into a ball, then roll in chopped peanuts. I processed a cup of the chocolate chip and peanut butter chips and added to the final chopped peanuts to roll the cheese balls in to give it an added dimension, but you don`t need to if you don`t want to. I think these would be cool to freeze slightly, and make a Ganache, and put on a rack and either drizzle with chocolate Ganache, or dip in the Ganache, and let set up and top with a smatter of melted peanut butter for a "buckeye" cheese ball. Cool, huh! (Since first trying this for a 'buckeye cheeseball'. I've made literally dozens of them, especially during buckeye football season. Very good. Sue

PEANUT BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
This is so simple and delish! Two of my favorite things peanut butter and cream cheese! Just mix them together and that's it! You can add anything you want to, such as honey, chocolate syrup, or marshmallow cream. Source: internet Note: yield depends on quantity made. I'm just guesstimating, because computer won't accept equal amounts of each.

- Cream butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter until mixed (using a hand or stand mixer). Mix in vanilla.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into a ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in a bowl (this is to prevent the ball from getting a flat bottom). Chill until firm, about 2 hours or overnight.
- Depending on how long you chilled the ball, you may need to let it sit out for about 30 minutes or so to get the chocolate chips to stick. Place the mini chocolate chips on a plate. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the chocolate chips, using your hands to coat and press them to make them stick.
