PEANUT BUTTER FOOTBALL DIP

Peanut Butter Football Dip image

Peanut Butter Football Dip is the ultimate super bowl recipe! Peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, and sugar mix to make a sweet cheeseball recipe that's perfect for a party! Shape it like a football for game day!

Provided by Dorothy Kern

Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/4 cup butter (softened (I use Challenge))
4 ounces cream cheese (softened (I use Challenge))
1 cup peanut butter (your choice; crunchy or smooth)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (up to 2 cups if needed)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips for the outside of the football
White chocolate or frosting for the football laces

Steps:

  • Cream butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter until mixed (using a hand-held mixer). Mix in vanilla.
  • Add powdered sugar, ½ cup at a time, and mix until combined. (If you want a stiffer mixture, add the extra ½ cup of powdered sugar.) Mix in chocolate chips.
  • Turn out mixture on a large sheet of waxed paper. Use your hands to form into a football shape. (This would also be cute as "lips" for Valentine's Day!)
  • Place the waxed paper onto your serving plate. (It helps if the plate has sides...less mess!) Cover in sprinkles or chocolate chips, pressing them into the surface a little so they stick. Pipe on the laces using melted white chocolate or some leftover frosting and chill until ready to serve.
  • Serving suggestion: pretzels, animal crackers, cookies, a spoon.

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE CHIP FOOTBALL DIP

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Football Dip image

A simple salty and sweet football dip for tailgating and football themed parties. This Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Football Dip Recipe is a crowd pleasing winner!

Provided by Trish

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 package Cream Cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 stick Butter (softened)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1 jar Chocolate Sprinkles
1 tube White Decorator Frosting
1-2 bags Pretzels

Steps:

  • Begin by adding cream cheese, peanut butter, butter and vanilla to a large mixing bowl then use an electric mixer to blend the soften ingredients until the mixture is well combined. Next, slowly add in the powdered sugar and continue to mix until the white powder is well blended into the creamy mixture.
  • Use a baking spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the mini chocolate chips into the peanut butter dough. Next, use your hands to form a big dough ball in the mixing bowl then place the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Put a sheet of waxed paper or parchment paper on the counter or table then after the mixture has chilled place the dough ball on the paper. Then use your hands to manipulate the dough into the shape of a football. (This football platter makes it real easy to create the perfect shaped football! I just build my peanut butter football over the one on the platter.)
  • Next, cover the football shaped dough with chocolate sprinkles then lightly press them into the surface of the peanut butter and chocolate chip dough. After the football shape is completely covered in sprinkles use white frosting to draw football laces onto the football.
  • Chill the peanut butter and chocolate dip football for one hour before serving with pretzels, cookies, graham crackers or another dipper of your choice. Enjoy!

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies image

I love these rich, very sweet, addictive cookies. I adapted this recipe from one I found and loved on allrecipes.com. I have altered it somewhat to suit my tastes and my preferred baking techniques but this is based on the recipe known there as Aunt Cora's World's Best Cookies. Cook time is per batch, cooking one sheet at a time.

Provided by HeatherFeather

Categories     Drop Cookies

Time 30m

Yield 36-48 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup sweet unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup sweet creamy peanut butter (do not use reduced fat versions - I use Jiff or Peter Pan brands)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar or 1 cup light muscovado sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Have ready at least 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter until smooth.
  • Add peanut butter and both sugars and beat until combined well.
  • Add egg and beat well.
  • Stir in flour and baking soda gradually until well combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
  • Using a meatball scooper or a spoon, scoop out small portions of dough and drop onto parchment lined cookie sheets, leaving 2" gap between each cookie.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until cookies are just firm around the edges- don't overbake- if you wait until they are brown on top, they will be too hard.
  • Slide parchment sheet, cookies and all, carefully off pan and onto your counter, set a new piece of parchment paper onto your baking sheet and repeat until all dough is baked.
  • Meanwhile, as the next batch bakes, remove baked cookies from the parchment and let cool completely on wire racks.
  • Wipe off the crumbs from the old sheet of parchment and you can reuse it for your next batch.
  • These will keep about 3 days stored in a cookie tin (for crisp cookies) or an airtight plastic container (for softer cookies).
