Time 3h10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cans (15.25 oz each, sliced peaches in heavy syrup)
2 cup baking mix (bisquick)
3/4 th cup white sugar
1 cup milk
vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick and sugar. Mix these dry ingredients well.
  • Add milk and combine. Set aside.
  • Grease a 6 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray and pour canned peaches (with syrup) into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Gently pour Bisquick mixture on top, which will mix in with the peaches and syrup. Do not stir.
  • Place a layer of paper towel on top of the slow cooker and place the lid on the slow cooker. This helps catch condensation that may appear on the lid. If the paper towel gets full during cooking, replace with a fresh paper towel.
  • Cook Peach Cobbler on high in slow cooker for 2- 2.5 hours, until Bisquick is cooked through.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and top with crunchy pecans.

SLOW COOKER EASY PEACH COBBLER

Slow Cooker Easy Peach Cobbler image

Delightfully sweet and rich. The crust is buttery with bits of crumbly bits on the top and the peaches are super juicy and bursting with flavor. It reminds me of the dump cake-version of peach cobbler that we would enjoy after long days on the lake in the summer. Serve warm, topped with cold vanilla ice cream.

  • Quarter the peaches. Slice each quarter into thirds and then cut the slices in half. Per whole peach, you should have 12 slices of peaches, halved.
  • Place the peaches in a medium sized bowl. Add ¼ cup sugar and lemon juice and stir well. Place the bowl in the fridge and allow to sit overnight, stirring occasionally. This process releases the natural juices from the peaches.
  • When you are ready to make the cobbler, drain the juices from the peaches into another bowl and set aside.
