Steps:
- Simply get out your pb&j, but instead of spreading it across the bread, spread it inside the pita pocket!
- This will surely have your child begging for more pita pockets. Everybody loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but there are different ways to use it!
- Can be used with different toppings, too.

- Melt peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds or so. Then apply melted peanut butter to pizza crust.
- Put the jelly into a sandwich baggie and push it into one corner. Cut the tip of that corner off and then squeeze onto the pizza in a circular pattern. Gently pull the cutting edge of a knife through the jelly to move it around.

- Use the Right Bread & Grill the Whole Thing. John Kanell, Preppy Kitchen. For culinary expert and blogger Kanell, the perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich all comes down to the right kind of bread.
- Leave It Open-Faced & Make It Pretty. Camila McConaughey, Women of Today. “We eat with our eyes!” McConaughey, who features many of her recipes on the Women of Today blog, says.
- Adjust Your Recipe Depending on the Experience You’re After. Christina Xenos, professional chef and cookbook author. Xenos says that you can choose the ingredients for your peanut butter and jelly sandwich based on what you’re looking to get out of the eating experience.
- Pay Careful Attention to the Construction. Kait Rubin, Slumber & Scones. Food lover and blogger Rubin has her preferred PB&J ingredients—namely, whole wheat bread, crunchy peanut butter, and strawberry preserves—but for her, the key to the perfect sandwich comes down to construction.
- Pick the Perfect Peanut Butter. Raymond Cua, Travelling Foodie. The prevailing wisdom from many serious foodies is that crunchy peanut butter is the way to go, but Cua makes a convincing argument for the creamy variety.
- Add Some Simple Twists to Amp Up the Classic Combo. Jason Goldstein, blogger and recipe developer. Goldstein thinks of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich as the classic salty-sweet combo.
- Bring in Some Butter & Salt. Bren, Bren on the Road. Having grown up in New Zealand, Bren doesn’t have a nostalgic attachment to peanut butter and jelly.
- Make It Peanut Butter & Honey. Anna Rider, Garlic Delight. Rider loves a good PB&J sandwich with crunchy, salted peanut butter and strawberry jelly, but what she actually recommends is PB&H—peanut butter and honey.
PB&J ON A BAGEL : 6 STEPS - INSTRUCTABLES
From instructables.com
- Separate the Bagel. Gently separate the bagel. Do not rip it apart aggressively, it did nothing wrong to you! ; D.
- Spread the Jelly. Use 1 of the knives or whatever you got to spread the jelly. Use your favorite flavor or just what you have.
- Spread the Peanut Butter. Use the other spreading utensil to spread the peanut butter. I honestly like creamy more but we had crunchy so I used that, it was still delicious.
- Put the Top On. Place the top on, be warned if you press hard you will get peanut butter and jelly everywhere. But if you want to make a large mess go ahead. ;)
- Enjoy! You did it, now you get to eat it! :D Participated in the. Sandwich Challenge 2020. Be the First to Share. Did you make this project? Share it with us!
