Using ingredients you can find in the pantry, pull together a satisfyingly sweet and salty snack, using MultiGrain Cheerios Peanut Butter cereal, Cinnamon Chex cereal and Betty Crocker™ fruit-flavored snacks.

Ingredients

3 cups MultiGrain Cheerios™ Peanut Butter cereal
3 cups Cinnamon Chex™ cereal
2 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
1 cup Betty Crocker™ fruit-flavored snacks
1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla baking chips (2 cups)

Steps:

In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels and fruit snacks.
In small microwavable bowl, microwave baking chips uncovered on High in 30-second increments, stirring until chips are melted and smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until well coated.
Spread mixture in single layer on sheet of waxed paper or cooking parchment paper. Let stand until hardened.

Ingredients

5 cups Rice Chex
1/4 cup strawberry jelly
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1/3 cup salted peanuts
Freeze-dried strawberries, optional

Steps:

Place cereal in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine jelly, butter and corn syrup. Microwave until smooth; pour over cereal. Toss to coat., Microwave in batches on high for 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Spread onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool. Stir in chips, peanuts and, if desired, strawberries. Store in an airtight container.

This is the recipe that was on the Chex cereal box with a few additions, when I was a child. I hope you like it as much as I do. I seem to make it every year around Christmas time, so Cheers!

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 1/4 teaspoons seasoning salt
4 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 cups Corn Chex
2 1/2 cups Rice Chex
2 1/2 cups Wheat Chex
1/4 cup nuts
1/2 cup pretzel

Steps:

Preheat oven to 250°F.
Heat Butter in large 8-quart pot until melted and add seasoning salt and Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
In large bowl, measure all 3 cereals, nuts, and pretzels and mix together.
Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and stir until evenly coated.
Place mixture in a large pan (I usually use my roasting pan) and bake for 1 hour, stirring approximately every 15 minutes.
