While the bread is toasting, in a small bowl, using a fork mash the ripe banana until it reaches a smooth consistency. Using a knife, take both pieces of the toasted bread and spread 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, topping 1 side with the mashed banana. Place 1 slice of bread on top of the other forming a sandwich. Place sandwich in hot skillet browning each side, flipping with a spatula, about 2 minutes per side. Take out of skillet, slice on a diagonal and serve on a plate.
CHOCOLATE CHIP, PB & BANANA SANDWICHES
I love finding new ways to combine peanut butter, chocolate and bananas. I was shocked when my nephews (who are very picky eaters) loved these sammies. -Charlotte Gehle, Brownstown, Michigan

PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SANDWICH
This is a complicated, but delectable sandwich once you master the technique. ;) *Please note: Make sure you peel the banana before you slice it and put it onto the sandwich. A reviewer was kind enough to point that oversight out to me. Thank you ever so kindly Bruce!! ;) har har

Then place bananas on top of peanut butter side by side, being careful not to overlap but to make sure the entire toast piece is covered. Lastly, EVER SO CAREFULLY, top with second piece of toast so it is symmetrically secured.
- NOTE: You may need perform this whole application using oven mitts as the toast may be hot.

PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA AND SULTANAS SANDWICHES OR PINWHEEL STYLE
Yummy little snack for little kids or big kids. Alternatively, you can use either two slices of the same bread (either two white bread or two wholemeal bread) it's just to make it look pretty and healthy for kids. The pinwheel style is difficult to do without making a mess so if you don't like a mess or a challenge. You can use two more slice of bread and place them on the top, this will then be a serving size for two. Please be careful with nuts, we don't give Little Miss (DD) nuts because her cousin has a severe nut allergy.

PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA AND MAYONNAISE SANDWICH
I don't know exactly how Elvis ate this sandwich (I think he fried it), but this is my family's way of making this sandwich since I was a little girl. I craved these terribly while I was pregnant. Edited to add-Reviewer Bev is right- Miracle Whip makes it better than mayo! I used Honey Roasted Peanut Butter on my last one and it was (with the Miracle Whip) the BEST. sandwich!!! I could eat one everyday!
