Steps:
- Heat 2 inches of oil in a large, heavy Dutch oven to 350 °F.
- Dredge each Cheesy Mac portion in flour, then egg, and then bread crumbs to coat. Fry for about 1 minute on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels before serving.
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- Once you have the macaroni cooked and drained, place in a large bowl and while still hot, add the cheddar. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and add to the macaroni mixture. Pour macaroni mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Top with additional cheese, if desired.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly butter an 8x12" baking dish.
- In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni until al dente. Drain, transfer to a bowl.
- Add two cups of the cheese and toss until melted.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the sour cream.
- Add the milk, butter, and 1/2 teaspoons salt.
- Stir the mixture into the macaroni and pour it into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes, until bubbling and cheese is melted.
- Let the macaroni and cheese stand for 15 minutes before serving.
