Passionfruit Pink Peppercorn Gimlet Food

TICKLED PINK GIMLET

Steps:

• Pour the Lillet Rose, grapefruit juice and gin into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel.

BLUE GINGER GIMLET

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
• For the ginger syrup:.
• In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine sugar, ginger and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until syrupy and reduced by half, about 40 to 45 minutes. Strain ginger pieces out and reserve syrup.
• (Trick: toss dried ginger in sugar, bake at 200 degrees until dried thru, about 4 hours and voila-ginger candy).

JIMMY BUFFETT'S MARGARITAVILLE PERFECT MARGARITA

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients except for the lime into a shaker.
• Squeeze 2 of the lime wedges into the shaker and then Shake Well.
• Rim outside of glass only with lime and then with salt.
• Add fresh crushed ice to glass and then strain mixture over ice. Squeeze remaining lime wedge in glass.

GIMLET

Steps:

• Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.

MIXED GREENS WITH PINK PEPPERCORN VINAIGRETTE

Steps:

• Place mustard, vinegar, and peppercorns in a medium bowl; whisk. Still whisking, slowly add olive oil; continue whisking until emulsified.
• Just before serving, toss with greens; season with salt and pepper.

STRAWBERRY GIMLET

Steps:

• Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice and shake well until chilled.
• Strain into a chilled martini glass.
• Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
• Strawberry juice. Remove leaves from approximately 5 or 6 large strawberries. Use an electric juicer or mash the berries until you have about 1 oz. of fresh juice.

PASSIONFRUIT & PINK PEPPERCORN GIMLET

Steps:

• Build all ingredients with ice in a shaker.
• Shake hard for 45 seconds.
• Strain through sieve or tea strainer into chilled Martini/coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass.
• Garnish with Lime wheel.
