PANIC ROAST
I came across this from www.cookingcache.com Submitted by Kathy-Lynn. She stated to cover roast with boiling water, and that's it. Try it her way if you like or how I prepared it. I didn't plan this roast in a panic just out of curiosity. This is intended for individuals who forget to remove something from the freezer for dinner. Do remember that you will need a LARGE crockpot (frozen beef roasts don't bend!). This isn't a to-die for recipe, but the meat was perfect for shredding. If desired removed some of the broth to make a gravy in saucepan

9 FOODS THAT HELP REDUCE ANXIETY - HEALTHLINE
From healthline.com
Author Brianna Elliott, RDPublished Jul 9, 2017
- Salmon. Salmon may be beneficial for reducing anxiety. It contains nutrients that promote brain health, including vitamin D and the omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) (2, 3, 4, 5).
- Chamomile. Chamomile is an herb that may help reduce anxiety. It contains both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which may help lower inflammation associated with anxiety (13, 14, 15).
- Turmeric. Turmeric is a spice that contains curcumin — a compound studied for its role in promoting brain health and preventing anxiety disorders (19, 20).
- Dark chocolate. Incorporating some dark chocolate into your diet may also help ease anxiety. Dark chocolate contains flavonols, such as epicatechin and catechin, which are plant compounds that act as antioxidants.
- Yogurt. The probiotics, or healthy bacteria, found in some types of yogurt may improve several aspects of your well-being, including mental health (29, 30, 31).
- Green tea. Green tea contains L-theanine, an amino acid that’s been studied for the positive effects it may have on brain health and anxiety (39, 40, 41).
- Almonds. Almonds are a great source of several nutrients thought to promote brain function, including vitamin E and healthy fats (46, 47). In fact, some animal studies have found that almonds could reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, which could be involved in the development of anxiety (48, 49, 50).
- Blueberries. Blueberries are high in vitamin C and other antioxidants, such as flavonoids, that have been studied for their ability to improve brain health and relieve anxiety (46, 53, 54, 55).

- Alcohol. Believe it or not, the beverage often used to quell social anxiety is actually making it worse. “Although it may seem like it calms your nerves, alcohol can have a negative impact on hydration and sleep, both of which can trigger anxiety symptoms when suppressed,” says Erin Palinski-Wade, RD, CDE, author of “Belly Fat for Dummies.”
- Caffeine. According to the National Coffee Association, 62 percent of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis, and the average amount per day is slightly over 3 cups per coffee-drinker.
- Sneaky added sugar. There’s no way to avoid sugar 100 percent of the time, as it naturally occurs in many of the foods we love to eat, like fruit. But added sugar is a contributor to overall anxiety.
- Refined carbs. Refined carbohydrates have been associated with increased risk of serious health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Refined carbohydrates are foods that have been stripped of much of their fiber and micronutrients.
