OVEN FRIED BACON - NO MESS, NO CLEANUP!
This is my favorite way of making bacon, no mess, no cleanup! Comes out just like fried bacon crispy, fries in the oven in it's own bacon grease. The pepper is optional.

Steps:
- Use a 4 sided pan like a jelly roll pan.
- Line pan with tinfoil.
- Fold parchment paper to fit over tinfoil in pan. Must use parchment paper & line the pan for easy cleanup, important step!
- Set oven to 400*.
- After lining pan lay strips of bacon on parchment paper.
- Put in preheated 400* for 15 minutes, I turn bacon over after 10 minutes.
- Take out when crispy & lay on paper towels.
- When pan cools roll up tinfoil & parchment paper & throw away, no pan to wash!
"FRIED" BACON IN THE OVEN
A easy & no clean up way to do your bacon. I had to add a T. of pepper because you need more then 1 ingriedent, skip unless you want your bacon peppery!

Steps:
- To avoid grease splatters on the top of your stove or having to wash an extra splatter screen, simply put bacon in a cast iron skillet with the lid on in a preheated 450* oven for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the skillet, drain the bacon, and the oven stays clean and so does the top of your stove.
- Enjoy now and/or you can crumble up the leftover bacon to use in omelets or other recipes for later.
- Simply put them in a freezer bag and use later.
- It's especially efficient when you've already heated the oven for another dish.

- 1. Lay bacon flat on a foil lined baking sheet. Make sure to use a baking sheet with sides so you don't drip bacon fat all over your oven! Place bacon into a cold oven and set to 375 degrees. Bake for about 20 to 30 minutes, checking periodically in the last 10 minutes. (I take mine out when the edges start to char a bit because I like super crispy bacon!) Remove bacon from oven and place on paper towels. Enjoy

- Place oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 400.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly spray the foil with cooking spray.
- Lay bacon slices on foil with separation between each piece.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cayenne pepper over bacon.
- Roast bacon until fat starts to render, about 10 minutes.
- Rotate the pan from front to back and continue cooking until the bacon is crispy and brown, 5-8 minutes or 8-10 minutes for thick-cut bacon.
- Remove bacon from pan when crispy and place on paper-towel lined plate. Serve immediately.

- Unroll enough parchment paper to cover the base of the baking sheet, and then double it — so you have enough to cover the bacon strips as well.
- Fold the excess parchment paper over the top of the bacon and tuck below the bottom layer. (The bacon will be in the middle, with parchment paper on the top and bottom of it.
- Turn the oven on to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. (This seems to be the best temperature to bake bacon.)
- Set the timer. (As mentioned above, the exact time will take some experimenting on your part. I generally set the timer for 15 minutes if I’m baking regular/thin bacon.
- Once the timer goes off, remove baking sheet from the oven — then immediately open up the parchment paper and let it rest until the bacon stops sizzling.
- Get a plate or cutting board, and place a couple sheets of paper towel on it. Use a spatula or tongs to lift and place the bacon onto the paper towel.
- Place a few sheets of paper towel on top of the bacon, and press down — to absorb excess grease.
