This is a recipe I got off Recipe Goldmine. Delicious and easy rub for steaks! UPDATE: Due to the numerous comments, I've updated the salt measurement. Enjoy! :)

Steps:
- Mix together seasoning ingredients and rub into each side of steak.
- Grill steaks on a large frying pan over medium-high heat; press down on steak with spatula or tongs to sear the edges.
COPYCAT OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE MARINADE
This marinade starts with a good quality ale and adds some seasonings for a delicious steak just like you get at popular restaurants

- Marinate your desired cut of steak (great for ribeyes or new york strips) in the ale in a zip-top bag or plastic container for one hour in the refrigerator. Do not marinate overnight. Combine the brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until well blended. Remove the steak from the marinade and rub the brown sugar mixture on both sides. Place on waxed paper and return to refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. To Cook: Heat a cast iron skillet, grill pan, or outdoor grill to medium high heat (greasing as needed). Cook steak to desired doneness. Serve immediately with side dishes of your choice.

- Pierce steak with a fork, rub with oil and coat with the seasoning mix.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE MARINATED STEAK
Found this recipe in America's Most Wanted Recipes by Ron Douglas...there is already one posted but it is a little different and uses msg and this doesn't. It has a few more spices and is very delicious! Preparation time is also including the marinating and cooking time is to your doneness for grilling.

Steps:
- Place the steaks in a shallow pan, pour the beer over and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Remove the steaks from the beer.
- Combine the dry ingredients and rub over the steaks.
- Let rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator -- better if you let sit overnight or for several hours!
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the steaks to the desired degree of doneness. I usually use my George Foreman Grill. Eat and enjoy!

Our DD and SIL recently came down for a visit. As a birthday treat, they prepared supper. They served this delicious steak as their entree along with Amarillo Cheese Fries & Dip and a wonderful tossed salad. (Prep. time does not include refrigeration time).

- Place your favorite cut of steak in a shallow pan.
- Pour beer over steak and refrigerate 1 hour, turning occasionally.
- Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, seasoned salt, pepper and MSG, making a dry rub.
- Remove steaks from beer.
- Dry rub steaks all over; refrigerate 1/2 hour longer.
- Pre-heat grill or skillet to medium high.
- Spray cooking surface with non-stick spray.

The Outback Steakhouse Bloomin fried chicken is thinly pounded chicken covered in the same breading as the famous Bloomin onion chicken. You can serve the chicken with the Bloomin onion sauce and just relish in their taste.

- Take your pounded chicken breast and season it with salt from both sides.
- Now, beat eggs and buttermilk in a small bowl and set it aside.
- Then, in a large bowl, add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt and whisk them together. After that, add cayenne, paprika, onion powder, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper to it and whisk everything.
- Now, dredge the seasoned chicken in the spice and flour mixture. Take it out and shake it to remove excess flavor. Then, dip it in the egg and buttermilk mixture. After that, coat it with the flour and spice mixture and set it aside for a few minutes.
- Heat oil in the cast-iron skillet and place the chicken pieces gently in it. Fry them for about 8-10 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
- Take them out and drain excess oil. Serve your Bloomin fried chicken with the creamy Bloomin onion sauce.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE SEARED PEPPERED AHI RECIPE
The Outback Steakhouse seared peppered ahi recipe is absolutely delicious. The ahi tuna is marinated in mustard and spices and then seared with some chili as well. If you love spicy food, you'll definitely appreciate this recipe.

- Start by patting the ahi tuna dry with a paper towel. Then, place them in a mixing bowl and add the mustard paste to it. Mix them so that they get covered with it.
- Then, put the sesame seeds on a plate and roll the tuna pieces in it until they get completely covered in it. Put them back in the mixing bowl and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- After that, pour the coconut oil into a frying pan and heat it on medium heat. Then, add some chili powder to the pan and add the marinated fish into it.
- Cook one side of the fish for 2-3 minutes and then flip it. Cook the other side for the same amount of time. When the fish is cooked, take it out of the pan.
- For the dipping sauce, put the tamari sauce in a small bowl. Then, add the grated ginger, lemon juice, and maple syrup to it. Lastly, add some sesame oil and whisk everything together.
- Serve the seared peppered ahi with that delicious spicy dipping sauce.
