This tart, sweet salad dressing is wonderful on dark, leafy salad greens like romaine or leaf lettuce tossed with orange segments, black olives, and red onion slivers.

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • Whisk all the ingredients together, or combine in a small jar and shake well.
  • Keeps in the refrigerator for 2 days.

⅔ cup rice wine vinegar
⅓ cup orange juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • Whisk together the vinegar, orange juice, oil, cilantro, mustard, garlic, and honey in a bowl; store in refrigerator.

2 tablespoons mild honey
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
2 tablespoons sherry wine vinegar
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Pour the honey into a 2½ cup saucepan or a small nonstick skillet.
  • Cook on medium heat until it begins to foam up, then reduce heat slightly and cook 4 to 5 minutes, swirling the pan occasionally, or until the honey begins to caramelize and turn a light brown.
  • Remove pan from heat and pour in the orange juice.
  • Set back on burner and stir to dissolve the honey.
  • Stir in orange zest.
  • Pour into a bowl and cool.
  • Whisk in vinegar, salt, pepper and oils until thickened and blended.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.

  • Beat all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Chill several hours.
  • Serve, cold, over fruit.
  • Enjoy.

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 medium orange, peeled, sectioned, seeded
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons honey (or to taste)
1 dash cayenne pepper (the smallest of dashes!)
1 pinch ground cumin

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, & puree until smooth.
  • Great over grilled or roasted veggies!
