This is a great recipe for a quick pie that does taste like a million bucks. My daughter has been making this every Thanksgiving since she was 11. Very easy preparation. The recipe calls for 2 graham cracker crusts, but we have also made it with the chocolate crumb crusts as well. They are delicious as well.

2 graham cracker pie crusts
1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
1 (10 ounce) can crushed pineapple
9 ounces Cool Whip
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup pecans

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Pour into crusts. Garnish with extra pecans if you wish.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.

1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple (well drained)
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple tidbits (well-drained)
1 1/2 cups pecans, ~ (divided, and chopped )
1 1/4 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping (thawed )
1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping (thawed )
2 tablespoons coconut (toasted )
6-8 maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice, using a hand-held electric mixer, until it's slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the crushed pineapple, pineapple tidbits, 3/4 cup pecans and 1 cup coconut until well incorporated.
  • Fold in 8 ounces of the thawed whipped topping. Pour into prepared crust and smooth evenly. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled, about 4-6 hours.
  • Before serving, top with remaining 8 ounces of thawed whipped topping, and garnish with 1/4 cup pecans, 2 Tablespoons toasted coconut and Maraschino cherries and serve.

This old fashioned Million Dollar Pie recipe is the authentic Million Dollar Pie recipe that does not have cream cheese in it. Your grandmother may have called it the Millionaire Pie.

20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice, drained very well
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
8 oz. container frozen whipped topping (thawed)
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut flakes
1/2 cup pecans (chopped plus more for garnish)
9 oz. 2 extra helping graham cracker crust
8 oz. whipped topping for garnish (optional)
maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Drain the pineapple in a fine mesh strainer before beginning, pushing as much juice from the pineapple pieces as possibly with the back or a spoon. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl with a hand-held mixer or a whisk beat the sweetened condensed milk with the lemon juice until slightly thickened.
  • Fold the thawed whipped topping into the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice until completely combined.
  • Add the crushed pineapple, shredded coconut and pecans to the bowl. Fold the ingredients together with a large spoon or spatula.
  • Once all of the ingredients are combined well pour the pie filling into the graham cracker crust. Smooth the top and cover the pie with the plastic pie crust lid.
  • Place in the freezer and freeze over night.
  • About an hour before serving spread the second container of whipped topping over the top of the pie. Garnish with maraschino cherries and chopped nuts if desired.
  • Makes 10 servings.

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Blend together the cream cheese and condensed milk; gently fold in the whipped topping.
  • Stir in the crushed pineapple and pecans; pour into pie crusts and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.

Nice light & Fluffy pie for a summer day. Great to take to pot-lucks because it makes two nine inch pies. You can take both, or keep one for yourself :) Cook time is chill time for pie to set up. You can chill for less time if necessary, but I find it really cuts nicely if you chill overnight.

1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
1/3 cup lemon juice (bottled is fine)
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped maraschino cherry (you can use a litte of the juice to give the pie a pink tint)
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip
2 graham cracker pie crusts, 9 inch

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
  • Pour into Graham Cracker Crusts.
  • Chill a minimum of 4 hours, but overnight is best.
