  • Wash the potatoes and poke holes with a fork on both sides of the potato. I usually do about 3 pokes with the fork on each side. Spritz the potato skin with oil of choice. Place the coarse sea salt on a plate and roll each potato in it.
  • Place the potatoes in the crisping basket or on the crisping plate and select the air crisp function on 400°F-450°F (varies with air fryer). Set the time for 45 minutes. You don't need to flip the potato, but can halfway through the cooking time if desired.
  • When the 45 minutes is up, the internal temperature should be around 210°F/99℃ which is the perfect temp for a potato. If it hasn't reached that temp yet, you can AC longer.
  • Immediately after you remove the potatoes from the basket, cut a slit or two in the top to release the steam if you want to keep your skin crispy.
