Steps:
- bring a saucepan up to temperature (HOT).
- place olive oil in pan with garlic and fry quickly.
- put saffron threads in and fry for 25 more seconds.
- pour in pale ale.
- season with salt, pepper, nutmeg.
- reduce by half.
- pour in cream.
- add golden syrup and parsley.
- stir
- reduce till desired thickness.
- if you reduce to far and sauce splits add more cream.
- makes enough for one service!
