Steps:
- Combine the coffee, milk, and sugar in a blender and mix on medium speed for 15 seconds to dissolve the sugar.
- Add ice cream, and chocolate syrup then blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- Stop blender and stir mixture with a spoon if necessary to help blend ingredients.
- Pour drink into two 16 ounce glasses.

- 1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- 2. Select Variable 1.
- 3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO SHAKE
A thick icy cold milkshake with just the right blend of chocolate and coffee flavors. We found it surprisingly similar to a Wendy's Frosty. Plan to freeze a few coffee ice cubes in advance. I created this diabetic-friendly recipe with "light" and "sugar-free" ingredients for RSC #12. The shake can also be made using "regular" versions of the ingredients. We like it best that way!

I went through pages of coffe/mocha shakes/smoothies recipes, but didn't find one like this. So I'm posting it. You have to love coffee, but if you do, you'll love this. For calorie counters, use non-fat frozen yoghurt and skim milk and artificial sweetener. If you don't care about calories, use ice cream and cream.

Steps:
- Roughly chop 75g of the chocolate and put into a large jug with the coffee. Bring 300ml of the milk just to the boil, then pour over the chocolate and coffee mix, stirring to melt. Once melted, cool.
- Tip the cooled mocha milk into the blender with the ice cream and remaining milk. Blitz until blended, then pour into 4 tall glasses. Add an extra scoop of ice cream to each, if you like, then grate a little of the remaining chocolate on top.
