4 cups Cheerios™ cereal
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in vanilla. Add cereal; mix well.
Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in sugar and cinnamon; toss well to coat. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

4 cups plain Cheerios cereal
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat; add vanilla and stir to combine.
Stir in the Cheerios, coating evenly in butter. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cereal is lightly toasted.
Remove from heat and pour the cinnamon-sugar mixture over Cheerios; toss well to coat evenly.
Allow to cool completely, serve, and enjoy!

This amazing Crockpot Mini Doughnut Toasted Cheerios mix is a fantastic slow cooker version of my very popular Mini Doughnut Hot Buttered Toasted Cheerios recipe! Perfect for a party or as a snack for the family!

Ingredients

8 cups Cheerios™ OR Cinnamon Cheerios™ cereal
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Steps:

Add Cheerios to the bowl of a slow cooker/crockpot.
Slice butter into small pats/pieces and scatter them all over the top of the cereal. Drizzle with the vanilla extract.
Cover with lid and set to high with a timer set to 3 hours.
Stir every 30 -45 minutes. You want to keep the bottom Cheerios from burning.
Once the timer is done, add sugar and cinnamon to cereal in slow cooker bowl; toss well to coat.
