MINI CHEESEBURGER SKEWERS (WITH BURGER SAUCE)



Mini Cheeseburger Skewers (with Burger Sauce) image

These baked Mini Burger Bites With Sauce are like 'bunless' sliders! I slathered on the most delicious burger sauce that will have your guests licking their fingers clean. These are truly a fun skewered appetizer that both kids and adults will love!

1 lb Ground Beef
4 tbsp Ketchup
3 tbsp Mayo
1 tbsp Pickle Juice
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mayo
1 1/2 tbsp pickle juice
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
2 large lettuce leaves
15 grape tomatoes
30 pickle slices
4 large slices of yellow american cheese

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees F. Combine burger ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined.
  • Using a mini ice cream scooper, scoop out about 1/2 oz of burger meat onto a greased baking dish and flatten each slightly using your hand. (If you use a 1/2 oz scoop, you should get about 30 mini burgers. If your using a 1 oz. scoop, you will get about 15 burgers.)
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until pink juices are clear. In the meantime, mix up your burger sauce by combining all ingredients in a small bowl.
  • When cooked through, remove from oven and add a cheese squares onto each burger. Bake another minute or so until cheese is melted.
  • Skewer burgers onto skewer starting with lettuce, then tomato, then burger and finished with a pickle. Lay flat on a plate and drizzle with sauce. Serve immediately.

2 slices thick-cut bacon
9 ounces ground beef
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 to 3 splashes Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, pressed
3 slices Cheddar, quartered
1/4 cup baby spinach leaves
12 dill pickle chips
2 tablespoons your favorite burger condiment
3 cherry tomatoes, halved

Steps:

  • Heat a skillet with a lid over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook, turning occasionally, until crisp, about 12 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix together the ground beef, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in a small bowl until well combined. Divide the mixture into 6 equal mini patties. Set aside.
  • Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside. Add the burger bites and cook until well browned all over and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Add 2 of the quartered pieces of cheese to the top of each bite and cover the skillet with the lid. Allow the cheese to melt, 1 minute. Remove the bites to a plate.
  • Tear each bacon piece into bite-size pieces. Start building up the bites by placing a piece of bacon on top of each patty, then a couple of folded leaves of spinach, a couple of pickles, a dollop of your favorite burger condiment, and a half a tomato, securing it all with a toothpick or small skewer. Repeat with the remaining ingredients until all the bites are built, and serve.

1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons instant minced onion
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
8 ounces American cheese, cut into 2-inch cubes (2 cups)
24 miniature sandwich buns, split

Steps:

  • Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat about 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until brown; drain. Stir in ketchup, onion and mustard.
  • Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spoon beef mixture into cooker. Top with cheese.
  • Cover and cook on low heat setting 3 to 4 hours or until mixture is hot and cheese is melted.
  • Serve beef mixture with buns. Beef mixture will hold on low heat setting up to 3 hours.

These easy and quick mini cheeseburgers appetizers are prepared with ready made frozen crispy crown potatoes. For more variety customize and secure with long bamboo picks. They are perfect for game day, movie night and kid sleepovers.

27 crispy crown potatoes (found in the freezer section)
3/4 lb lean ground beef
2 pinch salt
2 pinch fresh ground black pepper
2 pinch onion powder
3 slices yellow american cheese
3 slices crispy cooked bacon

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2. Arrange crispy crowns in single layer on baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes turning halfway through.
  • 3. Meanwhile in a small bowl mix ground beef, salt, pepper and onion powder. Shape into little patties about 1 inch round and relatively flat. Place in single layer on separate baking sheet. Place in oven and bake 10 minutes flipping halfway through.
  • 4. Divide each cheese and bacon slice into ninths. On baking sheet top each crispy crown with a burger, cheese slice and bacon. Place back in oven until the cheese is melted; approximately 2-3 minutes.
  • 5. NOTES You can bake both the crispy crowns and burgers in the same oven simultaneously just on different baking sheets.

1 lb ground beef,80% lean
1 small onion,chopped
1 pkg crumbled blue cheese(you'll need at least half a cup)
1 pinch salt and pepper
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 c biscuit mix
1/2 c buttermilk
2 large eggs,beaten
1 can(s) french fried onions

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Spray a twelve compartment muffin pan with some cooking spray. Brown the chopped onions in the olive oil then brown the chopped meat,season with salt and pepper. Cook until all of the red is gone from the meat,drain the excess liquid and set to the side to cool.When the mixture has cooled fold in the crumbled blue cheese.
  • 2. Combine the beaten eggs with the buttermilk and whisk in the Bisquick batter mix. Spoon one tablespoon of Bisquick mixture into each muffin compartment then spoon about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture in and then one tablespoon of Bisquick mixture over the tops.
  • 3. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set,sprinkle fried onions over the tops and return to the oven,turn off the oven. Let them stay in for 2-3 minutes and remove. Give the a minute or two to rest before removing from the muffin pan.
  • 4. You want to run a knife or metal spatula around the edges to help lift them out of the pan. Serve with a fresh tossed salad or your favorite vegetables and or side dish,enjoy!! :)
