MINCEMEAT PUMPKIN PIE
Instead of serving separate pumpkin and mincemeat pies one Thanksgiving, I served this one pie that combines those wonderful flavors. It was a hit!

Steps:
- Spread mincemeat over the bottom of pastry shell. In a large bowl, beat the egg, pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt and cloves just until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. , Pour over mincemeat. Bake at 400° for 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Store in the refrigerator.

MINCEMEAT AND PUMPKIN LAYER PIE
This is pumpkin pie with a twist, a layer of mincemeat topped with a layer of pumpkin. Just the thing to put the zing into traditional pumpkin pie! It has been a favorite in our family for years.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Beat together egg, pumpkin, sugar, spices, and salt with rotary beater.
- Spread mincemeat into the bottom of the pastry shell. Pour pumpkin mixture over mincemeat.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, slightly warm or cool, but not cold.

Steps:
- Spread mincemeat evenly in bottom of pastry shell.
- Prepare pumpkin pie filling, following label directions, but substitute the orangejuice and evaporated milk for the liquid called for; stir in peel.
- Pour over mincemeat in shell.
- Bake in a hot oven 400* for about 45 minutes or till knife inserted halfway between center and edge of filling comes out clean.
- Cool, serve garnished with whipped cream.

MINCEMEAT ALMOND PIE WITH BOURBON GLAZE
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375F. Spread the mincemeat evenly over the bottom of the MI-DEL Graham Cracker Pie Crust and set aside.
- In a stand mixer, cream the butter and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly. Then mix in the almond flour and 1 tbsp of bourbon. Mix until a smooth batter is formed.
- Pour the almond batter over the mincemeat layer in the pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
- While the pie is baking, prep the bourbon glaze. In a medium mixing bowl, add the confectioners' sugar, 3 tbsp of bourbon, and the water. Whisk until a smooth glaze is formed.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let cool slightly. With a sharp knife, score a lattice design into the top of the pie (this will ensure that the bourbon glaze permeates the inside). Cover the top of the pie with the glaze, making sure to fill the scored cake, and enjoy!
MINCEMEAT MONKEY BREAD
For those of you who love mincemeat during the holidays this is a nice bread that has holidays written all over it. Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Combine pumpkin pie spice and sugar in a bowl.
- 2. Cut each bread dough roll in half and roll in pumpkin pie spce and sugar mixture.
- 3. Layer in a greased bundt pan. After you completed the bottom layer spoon mincemeat from the jar and layer over the dough.
- 4. Create another layer just as the bottom layer and layer the mincemeat once again.
- 5. For the top layer roll the pieces in the sugar and spice mixture and cover and let raise for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Heat the butter and brown sugar in a sauce pan till it comes to a boil. Layer the raisins on top layer of bread dough and pour the brown sugar mixture over the raisins.
- 7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes keeping an eye on the top so it does not burn. Enjoy!
