Microwave Spicy Spaghetti Food

ONE-DISH MICROWAVE SPAGHETTI

Steps:

• Crumble ground beef into a microwave-safe casserole; add garlic salt& onion.
• Microwave on high until no longer pink (about 4 minutes); stirring once.
• Drain; stir to break meat into smaller pieces.
• Add tomato sauce, water, mushrooms, remaining seasonings and spaghetti.
• Cover with casserole lid; microwave for 10-12 minutes or until spaghetti is tender, stirring twice.
• Let stand 5 minutes, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.

MICROWAVE SPICY SPAGHETTI

Steps:

• Rinse the spaghetti under running water and drain well.
• Place the oil, spices, garlic and onions in microwave safe bowl, cover and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes, or until onions are slightly softened, stirring twice. Add the hot stock and sultanas and cook on HIGH 4 - 5 minutes, or until the onions are tender, stirring once. Add onion mixture to spaghetti with parsley, pine nuts (if using) and pepper to taste and toss to blend.
• Leave at room temperature for 3 - 4 hours to allow flavours to blend.
• Toss again before serving.

SPICY SPAGHETTI WITH GARLIC MUSHROOMS

Steps:

• Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add the mushrooms, then fry over a high heat for 3 mins until golden and softened. Add the garlic, fry for 1 min more, then tip into a bowl with the parsley. Add the onion and celery to the pan with the rest of the oil, then fry for 5 mins until lightly coloured.
• Stir in the tomatoes, chilli and a little salt, then bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 mins until thickened. Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti, then drain. Toss with the sauce, top with the garlicky mushrooms, then serve.
