Number Of Ingredients 8

Coarse salt
Lime wedges
Ice cubes
6 dashes hot sauce, such as Valentina or Tabasco
3 dashes Maggi seasoning or soy sauce
1 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/3 cup lime juice
1 bottle (12 ounces) beer, such as Corona, Modelo or Tecate

Steps:

  • Place coarse salt in a shallow dish; run a lime wedge around rims of 2 cocktail glasses. Dip rims of glasses into salt, shaking off excess. Fill each glass with ice. In a small pitcher, combine hot sauce, Maggi seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and lime juice. Add beer. Pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with lime wedges. Serve immediately.

Coarse salt
2 lime wedges
2 ounces tomato juice (canned, bottled, or fresh)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce hot sauce
1/4 ounce Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tajín Clásico
1 bottle (12 ounces) pale lager, such as Corona Extra, chilled

Steps:

  • Place about 1/4 cup salt on a small plate. Rub the rim of a Collins or pint glass (or a 16-ounce Solo cup-no need to get fancy) with one of the lime wedges to moisten it, then dip the rim in the salt to coat.
  • Combine the tomato juice, lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Tajín, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl and mix.
  • Fill the prepared glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes and add the tomato juice mixture. Top with beer and garnish with the remaining lime wedge.

Steps:

  • Mix 1 tsp each salt, chilli powder and black pepper on a plate, wipe the rim of the glass with a slice of lime and roll in the spice mix. Add ice, juice ½ lime and 3 shakes hot sauce, then top up with Mexican lager.

1/3 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Corona beer
1 -2 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 -2 dash Tabasco sauce
1/8-1/4 fluid ounce splash spicy hot V8
lemon wedge

Steps:

  • Dip rims of 1 tall chilled glass in a saucer of water, shake off excess, then dip moistened rim in a saucer of kosher or margarita salt.
  • Fill glass half-way with ice and then one-third full with freshly squeezed lemon juice, then top off with cold Corona, Pacifico, or other light Mexican beer.
  • Add 1-2 dashes worcestershire, a splash of spicy v8 and Tabasco sauces. Serve with lemon wedges, if you like.

  • Rim the outside of a tall, chilled pint glass with 1 quarter of the lime. Pour salt on a plate. Press the rim of a glass into the salt to rim the edge. Squeeze the rest of the limes into the glass. Drop the limes in the glass. Add the Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Fill glass with ice, add beer, and stir.

1/4 cup coarse salt (for the rim)
1 cup ice cubes (or coarsely crushed ice )
1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
1 to 2 dashes bottled hot chili sauce (such as Tabasco, Tapatio, or Cholula)
1 to 2 dashes soy sauce
1 to 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 bottle beer (cold, preferably a dark Mexican beer )
Garnish: 1 lime wedge

Steps:

  • Spread a layer of salt on a saucer. Wet the rim of a chilled beer mug or large glass by running a lime wedge around it. Dip the rim of the glass in the salt, rolling it around to cover the entire circumference.
