This Limonada, Mexican Lemonade is the easiest you'll find. It's light & refreshing, perfect for a summer afternoon or your Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

Ingredients

2 lemons (quartered, peeled & any seeds removed)
8 cups cold water
½ cup granulated sugar
Lemon wheels to garnish
1 cup ice per serving

Steps:

Combine lemons with 4 cups water & sugar in the blender.
Blend until completely pulverized, it should be slightly foamy with a whitish color.
Strain lemonade into a large pitcher & add the remaining 4 cups of water. Stir.
Serve over ice & garnish with a lemon wheel.

1 cup fresh lemon or lime juice (About 4 large lemons or 8 to 10 large limes)
1 cup simple syrup
4 cups cold water
Ice for serving

Steps:

Using a lemon or lime squeezer, juice the lemons/lime until you reach one cup.
In a large pitcher, add the lemon/lime juice, the simple syrup & water.
Mix well and enjoy over a glass filled with ice.

3 cups water
3/4 cup agave syrup, plus extra, as needed
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 8 limes)
1/2 cup agave syrup or other natural sweetener
Ice

Steps:

In a medium saucepan bring 1 cup of water, 3/4 cup agave syrup, and rosemary to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove the pan from the heat and cool for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture into a pitcher. Add the lime juice and remaining 2 cups water. Stir and sweeten, to taste, with agave syrup. Serve in glasses filled with ice.

6 -10 limes or 6 -10 lemons, cut in half
approx. 3 cups water
4 cups Sprite
2 scoops powdered lemonade mix (add to taste)
Agave, if you want a suger alternative (sweeten to taste)
ice cube

Steps:

This is not a perfect science, so don't be afraid to experiment a little. Wash your limes. Cut the limes in half. Place the halved limes or lemons in the blender with 4 cups of water. Blend until the limes or lemon is completely pulverized, the mixture should look like this --
Strain the limeade (I usually end up using my hands a little) and add the Sprite and Lemonde powder. Add water to taste. If more sweetness is desired, add agave to taste. Serve with ice.
