MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH MEAT LOAF
When my husband and I were first married, he refused to eat meat loaf because he said it was bland and dry. Then I prepared this version, and it became his favorite meal. -Suzanne Codner, Starbuck, Minnesota

Steps:
- Cut two 25x3-in. strips of heavy-duty foil; crisscross so they resemble an X. Place strips on bottom and up sides of a 5-qt. slow cooker. Coat strips with cooking spray., Combine the first 6 ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into a round loaf; place in center of strips in slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until a thermometer reads at least 160°. , In a small bowl, whisk ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon over meat loaf. Cook until heated through, about 15 minutes longer. Using foil strips as handles, remove meat loaf to a platter. Let stand 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Steps:
- Cut the Crisco into the flour and salt. Don't overwork. This should be very rough consistency.
- Beat the egg; add vinegar and water.
- Sprinkle the water mixture over the flour.
- Toss with a fork until coarsley mixed.
- Divide dough in half for two pie crusts. Shape into balls and chill 15 minutes.
- Roll on floured surface.
- Balls of dough may be combined for a large cobbler crust.
- Follow baking instructions for your pie or cobbler.

MELT IN YOUR MOUTH CHOCOLATE DELIGHT
This is just like its name--it is truly a delight to eat. Making it is really simple, and it doesn't last long once it starts to get eaten.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Start with the crust: Mix the pecans and flour together. Melt butter; add to mixture and stir until moist.
- Press into a deep ungreased 9x11 inch pan--crust should be thin.
- Bake until lightly brown; cool completely.
- Blend the cream cheese and Cool Whip together until smooth. Add sugar slowly until mixed well (make sure the Cool Whip is defrosted and the cream cheese is at room temperature before starting). Spoon filling into crust and let sit in the refrigerator while you mix the pudding.
- Mix the 2 boxes of pudding with the milk. When the pudding is thickened, add it to the top of the cream cheese mixture. Let set in the refrigerator.
- Next spread the last tub of Cool Whip on top of the pudding, being careful not to mix with the pudding.
- Top with chopped pecans.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Whip butter with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in the confectioners' sugar, cornstarch, and flour. Beat on low for one minute, then on high for 3 to 4 minutes. Drop cookies by spoonfuls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Watch that the edges don't brown too much. Cool on wire racks.

- Combine the butter, flour and confectioners' sugar together. At first it will have a pie crust consistency. Roll into one large log and wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap. Chill for at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Slice chilled log into 1/4 inch thick slices. Place cookies on a baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven until edges just begin to turn golden, about 10 minutes. Watch carefully so they don't burn.
