Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
- Combine the meatloaf mix, breadcrumbs, parsley, eggs, onion, garlic, 1/4 cup of the ketchup, 1 tablespoon of the Worcestershire, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, mix together until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and form it into a compact oval-shaped loaf about 9 inches by 5 inches. Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes.
- Stir the brown sugar together with the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire in a small bowl for the glaze. Brush the top and sides of the meatloaf all over with the glaze. Return to the oven and bake until the glaze starts to caramelize and a thermometer inserted in the center of the meatloaf registers 160 degrees F, about 25 minutes more. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
JESSICA'S MEATLOAF WITH OATMEAL
You can't tell this meatloaf uses oatmeal instead of bread crumbs, very yummy! Use either regular or quick oats.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix sauce ingredients, set aside until meatloaf is halfway cooked.
- Beat eggs; stir in milk, oats, sage, salt, onion and optional celery. Mix into ground beef. NOTE: Traditional meatloaf has double the salt; we like this recipe as is, but you may season to your own tastes by increasing salt or adding pepper.
- Place in 9" X 9" pan, leaving 1/2" empty border (makes it easy to remove any grease later).
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover with sauce and bake an additional 30 minutes (still uncovered) at 350 degrees.
- Immediately remove any grease standing in the border.

GRANDMA'S MEATLOAF WITH OATS
Grandma's meatloaf recipe was the best I have ever tried to make. My previous attempts to create a healthy, yet good tasting meatloaf recipe failed repeatedly because each attempt resulted in a dry loaf. Not so with Grandma's recipe! I added more seasonings and scaled her recipe up a bit so 2 full pounds of beef can be used and a whole can of tomato sauce (instead of a partial can). Plus beef is usually sold in 1-pound packages, so assembly time is reduced.

Steps:
- put meat, bread (broken up in large pieces), both eggs beaten with the milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- in a large bowl.
- then mix about 1/2 the can of soup into meat mixture (if you are using 2 small cans mix 1 can into meat mixture).
- mix thoroughly with VERY clean hands.
- shape into a loaf (it will be soft, very mushy to be exact, a friend told me to say it is the consistancy of"tuna salad" or canned cat food") don't worry, it is a sort of flatter than most meat loafs.
- Mix about 1 cup of water with remaining soup (if you are using the large can) and pour over loaf (or mix 1 cup water with the other small can and pour over loaf).
- Bake at 375 degrees about 1 hour and 30 minutes (adding water periodically).
- if the gravy looks too light -- cook for another 30 minutes -- it will never be too dry -- but the gravy will have a little more flavor -- keep scrapping down the sides.
- It will be golden brown on top and you will have delicious gravy to use over rice or potatoes.
- It is the best meat loaf you will ever eat (it is VERY moist and so delicious).
