- Pour mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat. Add water, stir, and bring mixture to a boil. Allow it to boil for five minutes, stirring often. When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Store sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator.

- Don't forget to scrape the bottom of the pan while stirring, so that the sweet and sour sauce will not catch. You will notice that the sauce will become darker and thicker while cooking.
- First pre-bake the panko breadcrumbs. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius/ 410 degrees Fahrenheit.
