THE ORIGINAL FANTASY FUDGE
This recipe used to be found on the back of a well known brand of marshmallow cream. Many were surprised when it was changed. This is the original! You may find that most packages of chocolate chips are 10 ounces now; 12 ounces of chocolate chips is roughly 2 cups.

- Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
- Mix sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk in a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Bring mixture to a full boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and thoroughly combined. Beat in marshmallow creme, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Transfer fudge to the prepared pan and let cool before cutting into squares.

- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently until it comes to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes, remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Pour into the prepared pan and chill until set. Cut into squares and serve.

- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter OR margarine and salt; bring to a full boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
- Boil for 5 minutes (this must be timed; start timing when mixture is at full boil).
- Remove from heat; add the vanilla chips and 1 tsp vanilla extract; stir rapidly until the vanilla chips are completely melted.
- Add in nuts.
- Pour into an 8" x 8" square baking pan lined with foil (make sure that the foil is overlapping sides of pan for easy removal).
- Chill in refrigerator until firm (about 2 hours).
- remove from fridge, lift out of pan by the ends of foil; remove foil, cut into small squares.

- Line an 8 by 8-inch pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a full boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until thick.
- Remove from heat and pour in the milk chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm. Cut to small squares and wrap in the "dream" or parchment paper.

- Line two 9-in. square pans with foil; butter the foil with the 2 teaspoons butter. Set aside. , In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, milk and remaining butter. Bring to a gentle boil. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in 2 cups nuts, chopped chocolate, chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla and salt if desired., Pour fudge into prepared pans; sprinkle remaining nuts over top and press in lightly. - Line an 8 inch square pan with nonstick foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Combine syrup, sugar, heavy cream and salt in a medium saucepan, preferably a non stick one; bring to boiling over medium high heat, stirring constantly; once boiling, cook 7 to 8 minutes or until mixture registers 238 degrees f. on a candy thermometer.
- Remove pan from heat; with an electric mixer, beat in butter and vanilla.
- Continue to beat on high power for 8 to 9 minutes, or until thickened, light ion color and fudge loses its glossy finish; stir in nuts and spread in prepared pan; let stand until firm about 25 minutes then cut into squares.
