SHEET PAN MAPLE DIJON GLAZED SALMON

Sheet Pan Maple Dijon Glazed Salmon image

Sheet Pan Maple Dijon Glazed Salmon with roasted asparagus and tender seasoned potatoes make the perfect weeknight dinner that is easily made all in one pan in just 30 minutes!

Provided by Kelly

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 18

1 lb baby potatoes, cut in half
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 lb thin to medium asparagus, ends trimmed
2 tsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, fresh or frozen, thawed
3 Tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard
3 Tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh thyme
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic and fresh thyme and season with salt and pepper. Spread them out in an even layer on a large sheet pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until starting to brown.
  • While the potatoes cook in the oven, toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic, lemon zest and salt/pepper; set aside. To make the maple dijon glaze, whisk together whole grain dijon mustard, maple syrup, garlic, lemon juice, fresh thyme and paprika in a small bowl.
  • Once the potatoes have cooked, push those to one side of the pan, add the asparagus to the other side of the pan and place your salmon fillets in the center. Brush the tops of the salmon with the maple dijon glaze so that each piece is evenly coated, and season with salt and pepper. Place the sheet pan back in the oven and cook for 15 more minutes, until asparagus is fork tender and salmon is cooked through. You could even pop the broiler on for the last few minutes to crisp everything up!
  • To serve, sprinkle with fresh parsley and season with additional salt and pepper, as-needed. Enjoy!

MAPLE-GLAZED SHEET PAN SALMON RECIPE

Maple-Glazed Sheet Pan Salmon Recipe image

A whole plank of salmon with winter vegetables gets covered in a maple glaze before cooking to perfection on one sheet pan for the easiest weeknight dinner around.

Provided by Tasting Table Staff

Categories     Main Course

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 16

¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup tarragon leaves, minced, plus whole leaves for garnish
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon thyme leaves, minced, plus whole leaves for garnish
Pinch red pepper flakes
Kosher salt, to taste
½ cup olive oil
One 3½-pound salmon fillet
1½ pounds (1 head) Romanesco, cut into 1½-inch florets
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
12 ounces (1 small) delicata squash-halved, seeds removed and sliced ½-inch thick
8 ounces (1 small head) radicchio, quartered and sliced into ½-inch strips
Microgreens, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450° and line a sheet pan with foil. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, tarragon, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon, lemon zest, thyme leaves, pepper flakes and salt. While whisking, slowly stream in the olive oil until an emulsified vinaigrette forms. Makes ¾ cup.
  • Lay the salmon across the center of the pan. In a large bowl, toss the Romanesco, Brussels sprouts and squash with ⅓ cup of the vinaigrette. Spread the vegetables in an even layer around the salmon. Drizzle ¼ cup of the vinaigrette over the salmon and season with more salt.
  • Place in the oven and cook for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, toss the radicchio in a small bowl with the remaining vinaigrette. After 20 minutes, spread the radicchio over the vegetables and cook until wilted, 3 to 4 minutes. Heat the oven to broil and cook until golden, 2 to 3 minutes more. Garnish with microgreens and the tarragon and thyme leaves, then serve.

MAPLE GLAZED SALMON SHEET PAN DINNER

Maple Glazed Salmon Sheet Pan Dinner image

With just 5 ingredients, this sheet pan dinner with Maple Glazed Salmon, Sweet Potatoes and Broccoli is an easy way to serve a healthy meal!

Provided by Blair Lonergan

Categories     Dinner

Time 35m

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for drizzling
12 ounces broccoli florets
4 salmon fillets (about 4-6 ounces each)
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Spread sweet potatoes and broccoli onto prepared pan and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, or more as needed to fully coat the vegetables. Toss the vegetables in the oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Roast for 10-15 minutes, or until potatoes are almost fork-tender.
  • While potatoes and broccoli are roasting, prepare the glaze for the salmon. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, mustard, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • Remove vegetables from oven and turn oven setting to BROIL on "high." Spread broccoli and potatoes to outer edges of sheet pan to make room in the center for the fish.
  • Place salmon in center of tray, leaving at least ½-inch of space in between each fillet so that they cook evenly. Brush glaze on top of each piece of salmon.
  • Broil for 7-10 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and top is browned and crispy. Potatoes and broccoli should be roasted and tender as well. The total broiling time will depend on the size and thickness of your fish.

Maple-Glazed Salmon image

I have a hard time finding good recipes my family likes with fish, since my husband is not fond of lemon. This is a perfect compromise!

MAPLE AND MISO SHEET-PAN SALMON WITH GREEN BEANS

Maple and Miso Sheet-Pan Salmon With Green Beans image

For a weeknight salmon that's impressive enough for entertaining, look no further. Salty miso paste and sweet maple syrup are the backbone of this simple, flavor-packed marinade, which is about as involved as this uncomplicated recipe gets. Here, the fish soaks up the sauce as the oven gets hot, and the snappy green beans roast in the same amount of time as the fillets. Start some rice when you walk in the door and you'll have dinner on the table in under a half hour.

Time 20m

Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 16

4 (6-ounce) skin-on salmon fillets, about 1-inch thick
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
4 teaspoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon white or brown miso
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, grated
1 pound green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
Pinch of red-pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil (optional)
1/4 cup roughly chopped cilantro, both leaves and tender stems
4 lime wedges, for serving
Flaky sea salt, for serving (optional)
Cooked white rice, for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil. Season the salmon fillets well with salt and pepper, and place them on a plate or in a large shallow bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, miso, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce and garlic. Pour the mixture on top of the salmon and gently massage the marinade all over the fish. Let marinate while the oven comes to temperature.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, toss together the green beans with the olive oil, red-pepper flakes and sesame oil (if using) and season generously with salt and pepper. Lay the salmon fillets on the sheet pan skin side down and spread the green beans out surrounding the fillets.
  • Arrange the salmon skin side down on the sheet pan and bake until the salmon is opaque and the green beans are cooked through, about 12 minutes. Right before serving, scatter with cilantro and a good squeeze of lime. Season with flaky sea salt and serve with rice, if desired.
