Maple Glazed Pumpkin Donuts are the best pumpkin dessert, and/or breakfast, ever. Period. These homemade, soft-baked donuts are frosted with a sweet maple glaze that will put you in a good mood for the rest of Fall!

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 large eggs
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbs butter melted
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 6 or 12 count donut pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
  • In medium bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pumpkin pie spice until combined. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin, vanilla extract, milk and butter and mix together until smooth. Add in dry ingredients, whisking until well combined.
  • Then place in a large piping bag and cut the tip off. Pipe donut batter into each well of your donut pan and place in oven to bake for 8-10 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  • Let cool slightly before turning out onto wire rack to cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, to make glaze in bowl whisk together your powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  • Place a wire cooling rack over a baking sheet. Dunk each donut in glaze and set on wire rack to harden.

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. baking powder
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin, divided
1 cup sour cream, divided
1-1/2 cups flour
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
12 pecan halves, toasted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Whisk eggs in large bowl until blended. Add brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and baking powder; mix well. Blend in 1 cup pumpkin and 1/2 cup sour cream. Stir in flour.
  • Spoon into 12 donut pan cups sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 12 to 15 min. or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool 5 min. Remove donuts from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, beat dry pudding mix with remaining pumpkin and sour cream until blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Whisk powdered sugar and maple syrup until blended; spoon over donuts.
  • Spoon pudding mixture into resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag; use to pipe pudding mixture into centers of donuts. Top with pecans, pressing gently into pudding mixture to secure.

1 tablespoon butter (melted & cooled)
1 cup all purpose flour
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
3½ tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 large egg (room temperature)
½ cup + 1 tablespoon milk (room temperature)
2 tablespoons greek yogurt (room temperature)
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
½ cup powdered/icing sugar
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
½ tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C), grease and flour a 6 size donut pan.
  • In a small pot melt butter and let cool.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugars and cinnamon.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together egg, milk, yogurt, vanilla, pumpkin puree and melted butter until smooth.
  • Mix the wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix just until combined, do not over mix. It there are a few small lumps that is ok.
  • Spoon or use a piping bag to place the batter into the prepared donut pan, bake for 10 minutes, test for doneness with a toothpick. Let the donuts cool 5-10 minutes in the pan then move to a wire rack to cool completely.

1 teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup pumpkin puree
2 Tablespoons butter (melted)
2 Tablespoons butter
¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1½ Tablespoons milk
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
2.8 ounces heath bar (2 (1.4 ounce bars), crushed)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray donut pan with non stick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl combine the egg, buttermilk, and vanilla. Whisk together well.
  • Add the egg mixture to the dry mixture and stir until moistened.
  • Then add in pumpkin and melted butter. Mix just until combined. The batter will be thick.
  • Carefully spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan.(I used a small spoon to spoon out the batter into the donut pan). Dividing the batter evenly between all 6 donuts.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the donut tops spring back after being touched.
  • Let set in pan for about 5 minutes and then remove from pan and place on a cooling rack.
