Love a super simple, but flavourful salmon recipe? Dijon mustard salmon is quick, easy, and full of flavor. Make this recipe tonight for a meal that goes from oven to table in just 15 minutes and it only requires few ingredients.

4 medium salmon fillets
1 tbsp fresh parsley ( chopped)
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Slices of lemon for garnishing

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven at 450F. In a small bowl add all the ingredients (except the salmon and the slices of lemon) and mix everything well until combined.
  • Place the 4 salmon filets (skin side down) on a cast iron skillet. Add the Dijon mixture on top and sides of the salmon filets.
  • Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes (the time will depend on the size of your salmon fillet). Garnish with lemon on top. Serve with cauliflower rice, green beans, roasted asparagus or mashed cauliflower.

3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey Dijon mustard
1 green onion, chopped
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 (8 ounce) salmon fillet
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix lemon juice, mustard, green onion, and ginger together in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Place salmon into a baking dish. Spread mustard mixture over salmon and sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until salmon flakes easily with a fork, 20 to 30 minutes.

1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup Dijon mustard

8 salmon fillets, 6 ounces each

Steps:

  • On the side burner, melt the brown sugar, honey and butter in a small saute pan over medium-high heat. Remove from the heat and whisk in the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and ginger. Let cool.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat. Brush salmon with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the salmon skin side down on the grill. Coat the flesh of the salmon fillets with the brown sugar mixture. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes to medium doneness, turning once after 5 to 6 minutes.

Nonstick cooking spray, for spraying the casserole dish
One 2-pound center-cut wild salmon fillet, skin on
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Spray a parchment-lined casserole dish with nonstick spray and lay the salmon in it skin-side down.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, thyme and cumin. Pour the mixture over the salmon, spreading to coat it evenly.
  • Bake until just cooked through, 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer the salmon to a serving platter.

Steps:

  • Line broiling platter with aluminum foil & spray with cooking spray.
  • Place salmon fillets on foil.
  • "Finger paint" Dijon over each fillet.
  • Balance platter over sink; sprinkle on lots of garlic powder and dill.
  • Broil (2nd shelf down) until Dijon topping starts to brown.

Steps:

  • Lay salmon filet on large piece of tin foil (shiny side of foil facing up).

  • Spread enough mayo over salmon to cover the filet.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Season with enough dill to cover the filet.
