Steps:
- Place the bacon onto a large, cold saute pan in a singer layer. Heat over medium heat for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is browned. (You can cook the bacon in batches if it doesn't all fit in the pan at once.)
- Remove the bacon from the pan, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
- Add the onion to the pan. Fry, uncovered, for about 10 minutes, until browned.
- Make a well in the center of the pan. Add the minced garlic and saute for about a minute, until fragrant (be careful not to burn it!), then mix it in with the onions.
- Add the cabbage to the pan. Season cabbage and onions with salt, paprika, and pepper. Cover and cook for about 15-25 minutes, until cabbage is tender. If you can't fit all the cabbage into the pan at once, add it in batches and let it wilt down a bit before adding more. (Cook time can vary widely depending on how big your head of cabbage is - just cook until soft and tender to your liking.)
- Meanwhile, chop or crumble the bacon. When the cabbage is done, stir the bacon back into the pan.

- Instant Pot Cabbage Soup: 1) To make the detox cabbage soup in the pressure cooker, press the saute function. Heat oil and cook onion, bell pepper, and celery for about 5 minutes, or until softened. Stir every now and then. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add tomato, broccoli slaw, cabbage, broth, tomato paste, pepper, and turmeric. Stir and secure lid. 2) Set on high for 15 minutes, or press the soup function and set for 15 minutes. - Cabbage Soup on the Stovetop: 1) Heat a large nonstick pot or dutch oven over medium heat, add oil and cook onion, bell pepper, and celery for about 5 minutes, or until softened. Stir every now and then. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. 2) Stir in all the other ingredients, except spinach, lemon juice, and salt. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. - Trim the cabbage, then shred it. To shred, cut the cabbage in half, then slice each half into thin slices and separate the slices with your hands into strips, as shown in the video below. Place the strips in a colander and rinse.
- Transfer the rinsed cabbage to a large, deep skillet, without drying it off - the water adhering to the cabbage will allow it to steam. You can a tablespoon of water to the bottom of the pan, but I usually don't find it necessary.
- Turn the heat to medium-high and cover the skillet. When the cabbage starts to steam, which should take about a minute, lower the heat to medium.
- Steam, covered, for about 5 minutes. Uncover, stir, and cook for 2 more minutes to allow any remaining water to evaporate. If you still have too much water in the pan, you can drain it into a colander.
- Add the butter, garlic, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring, until the butter has melted. Garnish, if desired, with dried parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.

- Heat a large pot of water and continue to boil - put your cabbage in and gently remove the leaves as they separate from the head - set them aside for rolling.
- Microwave your frozen vegetables - drain very well and set aside.
- In a large pan (i use a wok)heat oil.
- Cook onion on Medium High heat until opaque.
- add your meat and brown.
- at this point you are going to super infuse your meat with lots of flavor - you are going to add: Garlic Powder, oxo, steak sauce, Worcestershire, soy sauce and mix together well and continue cooking for a few minutes.
- Add your mushrooms and mixed vegetables and stir continuing to cook on a lowish heat.
- Add the cottage cheese and eggs - cook WELL - the eggs need to be completely cooked (about 10 minutes).
