½ cup margarine
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches, juice reserved

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Once oven reaches desired temperature, melt margarine in a glass 9x13 baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Pour reserved peach juice into dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Remove glass pan from oven and pour batter in starting in the center; batter will then spread itself over entire pan. Add peaches by placing them in center of pan; allow them to spread on their own.
  • Bake cobbler in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until brown on top. Do not overcook.

12 fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
½ cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread peach slices evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish. If using canned peach juice, pour 1 cup of it over peach slices. If using fresh peaches, combine water and sugar in a small bowl. Stir to dissolve, then pour mixture over peaches.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over peach slices, followed by dry cake mix. Top cake mix with pats of cream cheese. Dot cobbler with butter or margarine.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until golden.

1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Spray the 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray, or lightly grease with butter.
  • Pour the peaches and syrup into the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches, evenly coating from one end to the other and all the way to the sides.
  • Press down firmly on the cake mix to allow it to begin to absorb the peach juices.
  • Slice the butter and cover the top of the cake mix with an even layer.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon, if using.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, until the juices are bubbling and the top is golden.

1 15.25 oz (425g) cake mix, yellow or white
1 stick (113g) butter, melted
½ cup chopped almonds (any nut work fine)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • Place the peach slices to the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. If you use canned peaches, pour all of it including the juice.
  • Pour the cake mix into a medium bowl. Melt the butter in a sauce pan and add it into the bowl. Stir until combined. Sprinkle evenly over the peaches.
  • Optionally, top it with chopped almonds and bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg. Mix ingredients to a crumbly consistency. Separate ½ cup of crumble for topping.
  • Spray a 9x13 glass dish with cooking oil. Press remaining crumble into base of dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. As the crust bakes, slice peaches into 1 inch pieces.
