FLAVORFUL LASAGNA
The original recipe "Mama's Lasagna" was from the Food Network TV show "Down Home with the Neely's". I made it and decided to tweak it to my taste and then I just kept going! This recipe is by far the best homemade lasagna I've ever tasted.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray the bottom of a 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, saute ground beef until meat is browned, breaking meat up with a spoon. Drain fat and add Lawry's Spaghetti Sauce Mix, canned tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cottage cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash's Herb and Garlic Seasoning. Spread a little of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared pan. Lay one layer of noodles on top of the meat sauce, overlapping by 1/2 inch. Spread half the egg/cottage cheese mixture evently on top. Sprinkle with salt, 1 cup of the Italian Four Cheese Blend, 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese, and 1 tablespoon McCormack Italian Seasoning. Repeat layering in same order. Spread the last of the ground beef/spaghetti sauce mixture on top and top with 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1 cup asiago cheese.
- Place baking pan on cookie sheet and bake in center of oven for 40 minutes until sauce is bubbling and the edges are brown. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
- Serves 6-8.
LAWRYS (AND MINE) CLASSIC LASAGNA

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, brown ground beef (I add a chopped onion to the meat before cooking), drain. Stir in Spaghetti Sauce Spices and Seasonings mix, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 10 minutes. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups mozzarella cheese, the ricotta cheese, and garlic powder, set aside. In 9 x13 baking dish, layer ¼ of the meat sauce, then 3 lasagna noodles and 1/3 of the cheese mixture; repeat layers two times ending with meat sauce. Bake 30 minutes. Top with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese, then bake an additional 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
LAWRY'S LASAGNA

- Brown ground beef; drain fat. Stir in Spaghetti Sauce Spices & Seasonings, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Combine ricotta cheese and Garlic Powder With Parsley. In separate bowl, combine 2 cups mozzarella cheese with Parmesan cheese.
- In 13x9x2-inch baking dish layer 1/4 of meat sauce, 3 noodles, 1/3 of ricotta mixture and 1/3 of mozzarella-Parmesan mixture; repeat layers 2 times ending with meat sauce.
- Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 30 minutes; top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese melts, about 1 to 2 additional minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

LAWRY'S MEXICAN LASAGNA RECIPE

Steps:
- 1) Cook ground beef in large skillet over med heat until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes. Drain off fat. 2) Add taco seasoning mix, seasoned salt, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chiles. 3) Mix well and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. 4) Combine ricotta cheese and eggs in small bowl. 5) Spread 1/2 meat mixture in 13X9 inch baking dish. Place 5 tortillas over meat mixture. 6) spread 1/2 ricotta cheese mixture over tortillas and sprinkle with 1/2 Jack cheese. Repeat layers 7) Bake uncovered at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and lightly browned, 20 to 30 minutes. 8) Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares for serving.
