- Cook pasta in salted water to very al dente. In the last few minutes of pasta cooking time toss the frozen peas into the boiling water. Drain.
- Meanwhile in a medium sized oven proof bowl, add soup, milk, mayonnaise and the contents of cheese flavor package and stir until smooth. Add half of the parmesan cheese and the tuna and mix, breaking up any large chunks of tuna. Add pasta to bowl and without stirring add butter slices and allow hot pasta to melt the butter. When butter has melted, mix well. Top the casserole with the remaining parmesan cheese and then the crushed bagel chips.
- Bake casserole until browned and bubbling 25 to 30 minutes.

KRAFT® MAC AND CHEESE TUNA CASSEROLE
I call this a classic tuna casserole because it is made with a boxed macaroni and cheese and the basic ingredients we all grew up with. This is comfort food at it's best, my two favorites mixed together. This is so good that I took a picture of it after having it for dinner and decided it should be shared on my favorite recipe site. You will love it too.

Steps:
- Begin by boiling water for mac and cheese.
- While that boils, sauté onions in butter.
- Once onions are cooked to medium/well, add can of tuna (which has been drained).
- Cook for a minute or two, stirring.
- Add canned chopped tomatoes, stir and let simmer on a very low setting for about 5 minutes while you finish mac and cheese. Do not overcook as you'll lose the moisture and you don't want that to happen. Cover pan if you like.
- Prepare mac and cheese according to box directions.
- Place completed macaroni & cheese along with tuna mixture into a bowl, add salt and pepper (if desired) and combine.
- Serve with veggies and sliced bread and butter.
- YUM! Makes a great lunch.
