KOOL-AID BALLS RECIPE: THE NEW STRAWBERRY LEMONADE BOMB SUMMER BEVERAGE
Steps:
- Heat sugar and corn syrup in a pot. Bring to a boil and up to 305 degrees C (hard crack).
- Remove and very very carefully scoop into the molds and bring the mixture up the sides.
- Let set for 20 minutes.
- Heat a pan on the stove. Remove the Kool-Aid sphere from the mold and gently melt 3 spheres on a warm pan.
- Place 1/3 of the Kool-Aid strawberry lemonade package in each of the 3 spheres.
- Warm the other 3 sides of the sphere (the unfilled one) and the place on top creating a ball.
- Hold until both spheres stick together.
- When you are ready to make the Kool-Aid, place all the balls in 6 cups of warm water to dissolve faster, stir and then chill in the refrigerator, or add to 6 cups of cold water and wait for it to dissolve by stirring.

An old, old party punch recipe from Kool-Aid that may bring back memories for some. Don't underestimate the use of Kool-Aid because it's pretty darn good. Great for bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, graduation parties, etc.

- Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl. If not serving immediately, add the gingerale just before serving. Serve over ice.

Who would have thought you could improve on the package directions of Kool-Aid? Well, you can! This is now my family's favourite way to prepare Kool-Aid, at one-and-a-half strength. We tried it at double-strength, but preferred this method, with this amount of sweetness. The extra flavour burst is particularly noticeable, we have found, with cherry, orange, and grape.

- In a LARGE juice pitcher (1 gallon/4 litres), stir together the 3 packages of koolaid and the sugar.
- Add about 1/3 of the water and stir well, making sure Kool-Aid and sugar dissolves.
- Slowly stir in remaining water; chill.
