WORLD'S BEST EVIL SANGRIA

World's Best Evil Sangria image

Best sangria I've ever had. The evil is in how tipsy it'll make you because you want to drink so much of it.

Provided by Steve-O

Time 12h26m

Yield 8

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup white sugar

1 lemon, cut into thin wedges
1 (12 ounce) can citrus-flavored soda (such as Fresca®)

KILLER SANGRIA

Killer Sangria image

This is a stronger version of the classic Sangria and should only be served to consenting adults. Seriously though, it is strong and it sort of creeps up on you if you are not careful. I serve it and my wine and tapa parties, on the terrace of my apartment (located at about the 1500 foot level overlooking the Mediterranean), however it really can be served anywhere with the same results.

KILLER SANGRIA

Killer Sangria image

There are many, many recipes for Sangria to choose from, depending on what you like in your glass. My husband has been making this one for years, in fact we served it at our wedding reception! As for the name- well, if you don't watch how much of this you drink, you'll understand the name the next morning. Don't use high end wine or brandy for this, any subtle flavors will be lost. Cook time is resting time in the fridge.

Categories     Punch Beverage

Time P3DT5m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (750 ml) bottle red wine
1/2 cup triple sec
1 cup brandy
1 (12 ounce) can frozen juice concentrate, thawed (we like Hawaii's Own brand- orange mango flavor)
1 cup berries, frozen (I like strawberries and blueberries)

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, combine all ingredients except for the fruit.
  • Refrigerate, stirring once a day for three days.
  • On the third day, taste the Sangria. If it seems too sweet, add more brandy. If it seems too tart, add a little triple-sec.
  • To serve, pour into wine glasses, and add a bit of frozen fruit to each glass.

SHEILA'S PERFECT SANGRIA

Sheila's Perfect Sangria image

I've been looking for a good sangria recipe for some time. I checked out several recipes, combined the best of everything and came up with the perfect mix that would easily rival my favorite local lounge's sangria! Measurements are approximate and to taste but don't scrimp on any of the flavors. Add more juice or rum until it knocks your socks off....then it's your perfect sangria.
