Ingredients

3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
1 (16 ounce) can Yellow or orange frosting
1 (.75 ounce) tube Decorating gel

Steps:

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
Add Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. When slightly cooled, cut cereal mixture with leaf-shaped cookie cutters or use a knife to cut leaf shapes. Allow to cool completely.
Decorate by spreading frosting over top of leaves. Draw veins on leaves with decorating gel. Best if served the same day. Microwave cooking times may vary.

For each color batch of Fall Leaves Rice Krispie Treats you make you will need 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 cups of marshmallows and 3 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal. Melt the butter in a large pan on medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.
To tint the Rice Krispie Treat mixture Orange, Brown, Burgandy and Sage, add food coloring to the melted marshmallow mixture before you add the Rice Krispie cereal.
Once the mixture had cooled enough to handle fill your leaf cookie cutters and then press the Fall Leaf Rice Krispie Treat out of the cookie cutter and make another one.
