WEB Oct 26, 2014 PTO pressure is supplied by transmission pump, which also supplies oil to front pump. Your problem is at the back end of the tractor. Need to look at filter, suction screen, and may filter relief valve first. No need to worry about front pump, it will work after it is supplied with oil.

WEB If yours doesn't have it consider yourself lucky and then change the antifreeze and add additive that will prevent the cylinder pitting, you can get it at the Deere dealer. Also check the rubber shift lever boots, if these are cracked or missing, water could get in the trans and raise cain there.

WEB Jun 29, 2020 Sounds like a slippage issue for sure. DO you have a reverser transmission? A hi-lo? Have you tried changing hydraulic filter or cleaned sump screen? If filter and screen is clean, then you probably have a pressure leak internally on the clutch packs.
