JESSICA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
My sister asks for this recipe frequently so I'm posting it on here so she can always find it! I love chocolate chip cookies and have been on the search for years for one. This has been modified to what I think is the perfect chocolate chip cookies! Sometimes I'll switch up the chips to whatever I'm in the mood for (white, dark, milk). You can also do oatmeal and just switch out the flour for however much oatmeal you want! I have found Philsbury four to work the best.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350.
- Cream butter and sugars.
- Beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl and mix in with the butter/sugar mixture. Mix well.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Roll into balls that are just smaller than a golf ball.
- Cook for 8-9 minutes (will not look done but they will be PERFECT after sitting for a few minutes).
- Eat and enjoy :).

JESSICA'S MIX AND MATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
I have always wanted the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe and this is it! This are my go to chocolate chip cookies! They are SO GOOD! You can use any kind of chips in them and they turn out great. You can also switch out the flour for equal portion oatmeal and they are also fabulous! I always get asked for this recipe. ENJOY!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in Chocolate Chips.
- Drop dough by desired size on an un-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-9 minutes no more! They might not looked cooked all the way but trust me they will be PERFECT.
- Cool on wire rack or paper towels.

Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl beat shortening and butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
- Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, and baking soda.
- Beat until mixture is combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer.
- Stir in any remaining flour.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough with a 1/4 cup measure about 4 inches apart.
- Bake in a 375˚ oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Line a large baking sheet or two smaller baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
- In a bowl, add all 5 ingredients and stir together until all combined and smooth, about 3 minutes by hand.
- Using 2 tablespoons per cookie, scoop the dough and roll into a ball. Place on the baking sheet, allowing at least 4 inches of space between each cookie. Bake for 12-13 minutes until the cookies are beautifully crackly and set.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle with some extra sea salt on top.Allow to cool on the baking sheet for at least 5-10 minutes (trust me) outside of the oven, then transfer to a wire rack. You don’t want to disturb them before that - the cookies are still cooking from the residual heat. Serve and enjoy! Store the cookies in an airtight container once cooled, or leave them on the wire rack.
