A friend and I were experimenting with cocktails we like to drink as jello shots. We came up with this recipe and served them at our Cinco de Mayo Party. They were a HIT!!! They went down WAY too easy!!! I try to watch my sugar intake, so we used sugar free jello and sugar free red bull!

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 (5/8 ounce) package sugar-free black cherry gelatin
1 cup cherry vodka (we used Three Olive Cherry Vodka)
1 (8 1/3 ounce) can Red Bull energy drink (sugar free)

Steps:

Mix Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Once disolved set in fridge to cool for 10 minutes. Add red bull and vodka and stir until blended. We use the little paper dixie cups to pour into. Chill until firm and serve.

Jager Bomb:
1 1 cup red bull (in place of water), add black cherry or orange jello, 1 cup jager.
Margarita:
1 3 4 4 add 3 ounce package lime jello, 4 ounces tequila, 4 ounces sweet & sour margarita mix. Sprinkle with salt just before firm.
(substitue watermelon jello for lime for a melon margarita)
Rum & Coke:
1 1 cup coke, mix in dark cherry jello add 1 cup light rum.
Mimosas:
2 one varies from the normal method since champagne isn't as strong as liquor, cut the water out of this one. boil one cup champagne, mix orange jello 2 min, add one more cup champagne and a splash of OJ.
Silk:
2 one cup champagne, mix in jello for 2 minutes, add one cup champagne and splash of lychee juice from the can.
Orange Tic Tac:
Boil two cups red bull, mix jello two minutes, add two cups mandarin orange vodka.
Lemon Drop:
1 1 cup water, add lemon jello, citrus vodka, top with sugar sprinkles just before its fully set up.
Grape Crush:
1 1/2 1/2 water, add grape jello, 1/2 cup plain vodka, 1/2 cup chambord.
Hawaiian:
1 1 cup water, add pineapple or blueberry jello, 1 cup coconut rum.
Gin & Tonic:
1 1 cup tonic water, add lime jello, 1 cup gin.
Lemon Lime:
2 2 cups sprite, add lemon and lime jellos, 2 cups citrus vodka.
Blueberry:
1 1 cup water, add blueberry jello, 1 cup blueberry vodka.
Fruit Punch:
1 1/2 1/2 water, add mixed fruit jello, 1/2 cup blueberry vodka, 1/2 cup raspberry vodka.
Watermelon:
1 1 cup water, add watermelon jello,1 cup watermelon vodka.
Beer:
1 1 cups water, add strawberry jello, add 1 cup any malt liquor.
Caribbean:
1 1 cup water, add strawberry-banana jello, Cruzan banana rum.
Cherry Cola:
1 1 1/2 1/2 add cherry jello, 1 cup cold cola, 1/2 cup amaretto, 1/2 cup spiced rum.
Dreamsicle:

1 1 3 6 2 water, 3 oz box lime jello, 6 oz white rum, 2 oz cold water. top with mint leaves chopped and crushed. (or substitute mint leaves with a splash of mint extract in the the boiling water.)

1 3 6 1 add 3 ounce package wild strawberry jello, 6 ounces white rum, 1 ounce sweet & sour or margarita mix.

1 (3 ounce) package black cherry Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup coconut rum, chilled (Malibu or Parrot Bay work well)
1/4 cup Coca-Cola, chilled

Steps:

Combine Jello with boiling water and stir till dissolved.
Add cold liquor and coke, mixing well.
Pour into 2 oz. condiment cups; chill until firm.

WILD WOMEN'S CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY JELLO SHOTS

Made for RSC12. Can be made with sugar free or low sugar products. These jello shots can be as silly or as racy as you choose! This makes 36 jello shots that you can let each person top with the whipped cream, chocolate syrup and cherry or have them all pre-made. To keep clean up easy use disposable products and the smallest disposable cups you can find, about 1 oz or so work great. Whether taking these somewhere or not I like to place all the cups in a container for easy transfer to the refrigerator and to catch any spills before the shots set. Try the cardboard that comes under cases of drinks or a regular box - trim the sides if desired to make it more shallow. You could also use a casserole or roasting pan. Also makes it easier to transport if necessary. Cooking time does not include chilling time.

2 (1/2 ounce) boxes black cherry gelatin
2 (1/4 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin (Knox, Box comes with 4 packets, use two IF you want very firm shots) (optional)
2 cups boiling water
1 cup Creme de Cacao
1/2 cup coffee, cold
36 maraschino cherries, fresh with stem if possible
7 ounces whipped cream
6 ounces chocolate syrup

Steps:

Measure water in a microwave safe measuring cup. Microwave for 3 minutes or until water begins to a boil. If you do not have a microwave you can use a pan and a stove top.
Pour jello powder into a large container, if possible one with a pouring spout like a measuring cup or pitcher, and add hot water. Stir until dissolved.
Measure creme de cacao and coffee and add to the jello mixture. Stir to combine.
Arrange 36 small disposable plastic or paper cups, about 1 to 2 ounces in size, in a container to protect from spills.
Pour an equal amount of jello into each cup and place container in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
When ready to serve shake can of whipped cream well and invert over each cup. Spray a small dollop of whipped cream on top. Drizzle with about a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and top with a cherry!

Stir together boiling water and powdered gelatin in a mixing bowl. Stir constantly until gelatin is completely dissolved.
Stir in cold water and alcohol.
