Italian Layered Salad is full of chopped romaine, tomatoes, red bell pepper, olives, salami, and mozzarella cheese and topped with a Creamy Italian Dressing and pepperoncini peppers.

6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 1/2 cups halved grape tomatoes
1 medium cucumber, (diced)
1 small can garbanzo beans, (drained and rinsed)
1 red bell pepper, (diced)
1 cup black olives
1 cup small mozzarella balls
1/3 pound pepperoni, (diced)
1/2 medium red onion, (sliced)
6 to 8 pepperoncini peppers
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 packet dry Italian dressing
1/3 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Layer the romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, red bell pepper, olives, mozzarella balls, and pepperoni in a large glass bowl or trifle dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together dressing ingredients.Spread dressing on top of the pepperoni. Note: There is a lot of dressing. Feel free to reserve some in a bowl and serve alongside the salad.
  • Arange red onion slices and peppers on top.Cover and chill for 1 to 12 hours.

1 bag (16 ounces) broccoli slaw (6 cups)
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 cup creamy Italian dressing
1/4 cup shredded Asiago cheese (1 ounce)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In deep 3-quart serving dish, layer lettuce, broccoli slaw, beans, onion and bell pepper.
  • Mix mayonnaise and Italian dressing until well blended. Spread over vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours until chilled or overnight. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving.

1 box (16 oz.) rotini pasta
1 cup prepared GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 green pepper, sliced
1 cup turkey pepperoni, cut into quarters
8 oz. KRAFT Mozzarella Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup pimento-stuffed green olives, sliced
1/4 cup KRAFT Parmesan Cheese
1/2 Tbsp. garlic salt
1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
1/2 Tbsp. parsley

Steps:

  • COOK and drain pasta according to directions on box, rinse with cold water.
  • CHOP all vegetables, pepperoni and cheese.
  • LAYER one-third of the pasta in a 4 quart bowl, top with Pepperoni, Tomatoes, Peppers, Green Onions and Olives.
  • SPRINKLE with 1 tablespoon seasoning blend.
  • REPEAT layers 2 times.
  • TOP with cubed KRAFT Mozzarella Cheese and KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese.
  • COMBINE Vinegar, Water, Oil and Italian Seasoning packet in GOOD SEASONS Cruet Kit. Shake well.
  • POUR Italian Dressing over Salad.
  • COVER with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Toss gently just before serving.
  • STORE leftovers in refrigerator.

Kosher salt
8 ounces farfalle (about 2 cups)
2 stalks broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Juice of 1 lime
Freshly ground black pepper
2 avocados, diced
One 12-ounce piece deli ham, diced (about 2 cups)
8 ounces yellow Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 small head romaine lettuce, sliced
2 tomatoes, diced

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente (about 2 minutes less than the label directs), adding the broccoli during the last 4 minutes of cooking. Drain the pasta and broccoli and rinse under cool water; shake off the excess. Remove the broccoli and pat dry.
  • Whisk the mayonnaise, buttermilk, 1/4 cup chives, the parsley, half of the lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper to taste. Toss the pasta and a few tablespoons of the dressing in a medium bowl.
  • Assemble the salad: Toss the avocados with the remaining lime juice in a large glass serving bowl and season with salt; arrange in an even layer. Top with layers of the ham, broccoli, pasta, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Drizzle some of the remaining dressing on top and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon chives, or cover and refrigerate the salad and dressing separately up to 6 hours. (Bring to room temperature before serving.)

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a heavy medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and cook until brown and cooked through, breaking the sausage into bite-size pieces, about 5 to 8 minutes. Transfer the sausage to a plate. Cool to room temperature.
  • Chop and combine the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and cooked sausage in a large bowl. Add beans and enough vinaigrette to coat. Season the salad with salt and pepper, to taste, and serve.

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 clove garlic, pressed
Juice of 1 lemon
1 head romaine lettuce, roughly chopped
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chunked
6 whole pepperoncini
1/2 cup whole black olives
1/2 cup whole red cherry tomatoes
1/2 small red onion, very thinly sliced into circles
1/3 cup grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • For the dressing: In a blender, add the olive oil, mayonnaise, Parmesan, parsley, sugar, vinegar, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, garlic and lemon juice and blend until pureed.
  • For the salad: Put the romaine and iceberg greens in a large bowl and toss with the dressing. Top the salad with the pepperoncini, olives, tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with Parmesan at the end.
