This cake has been a family hit for many years. It comes to me from my grandmother's cookbook. A simple and easy recipe for even the most novice of cooks. There will not be any left overs!

Ingredients

3 eggs (beaten)
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups bananas (chopped not mashed)
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple (not drained)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

Mix all ingredients and mix well (do not beat).
Pour into 9"X13" cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

I don't know where my mom got this recipe, but I have been enjoying it for years.

Ingredients

3 1/2 c all purpose flour
3 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 c diced banana
3 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c vegetable oil
1 can(s) 8 0z can crushed pineapple
1/2 c chopped pecans (optional)

Steps:

1. Beat the 3 eggs and mix with other ingredients in this order: flour, sugar, salt, soda, cinnamon, vanilla, oil, banana, pineapple, nuts.
2. Do not beat; mix by hand. Just stir till well blended.
3. Bak in 9X13 pan for 40 minutes at 350. Check if its done. May need another 5 minutes. Glaze with mix of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minute.
