Infalible Masa Philly Para Pay Food
PAY DE POLLO Y TOCINO
El pay (tarta) de pollo con verduras es un platillo reconfortante, y con tocino y una corteza preparada con queso crema éste queda súper sabroso.

- Prepara la masa de la receta Infalible masa PHILLY para pay y refrigera.
- Cocina el tocino revolviéndolo, en una olla pesada tipo Dutch oven o en una sartén grande y profunda, a fuego medio hasta que esté crujiente. Sácalo de la sartén con una cuchara ranurada; escúrrelo sobre papel toalla. Reserva 2 cdtas. de la grasa que suelte y desecha el resto.
- Agrega las verduras (vegetales) y el ajo a la grasa que reservaste; cocina esto 5 min., revolviendo de vez en cuando. Incorpora la harina; cocina revolviéndola durante 1 min. Añade el caldo y deja que hierva. Agrega el queso crema; cocina revolviéndolo 1 min. o hasta que el queso crema se derrita completamente y todo esté bien mezclado. Retira la mezcla del fuego; incorpórale el pollo. Distribuye la mezcla en un plato o molde para tarta (pay) de 9 pulgs. profundo y pon encima el tocino.
- Calienta el horno a 400ºF. Estírala la masa para pay hasta obtener un círculo que sobresalga 1/2 pulg. más grande que el tamaño del molde. Pon la masa sobre la mezcla de pollo. Pellizca el borde de la masa para sellarla con el molde. Haz varios cortes en la masa para que el vapor pueda escapar. Pon el molde sobre una charola (bandeja) para hornear.
- Hornea el pay durante 40 min. o hasta que esté dorado, cubriendo el borde de la masa con papel aluminio durante los últimos 10 min., si fuera necesario para evitar que se dore en exceso.
