SPINACH ARTICHOKE HUMMUS
This light but creamy spinach artichoke hummus is great to use as a dip or spread, for an appetizer or to punch up the flavor of a sandwich or wrap!

Steps:
- Mix everything together in a food processor (I crammed it all into my small one but it would be easier to use a big one) and blend until smooth. Add an extra splash of water, lemon juice or oil if you need to, to get it to the right consistency.
- Taste and adjust the salt.
- Serve with veggies and crackers or pretzels or use as a sandwich/wrap spread. Delicious!

SPINACH & ARTICHOKE HUMMUS RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: chickpeas, baby spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, tahini sauce, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil

Steps:
- Add chickpeas, spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and seasonings to the bowl of a 2-quart food processor. Blend until smooth.
- While blending, slowly add in the olive oil until hummus is creamy and smooth.
- Garnish with a few leaves of spinach, additional chopped artichoke hearts, and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Enjoy!

SPINACH-ARTICHOKE HUMMUS
A recipe I made up for Super Bowl Sunday, inspired by some really good store-bought spinach-artichoke hummus. I thought that using hummus as a base was a brilliant way to veganize spinach-artichoke dip (one of my favorites), so I decided to make my own, chunkier version. Serve with Recipe #473753. Steps:
- In a food processor, puree the chickpeas and garlic. Add the olive oil, tahini, and lemon juice, and process until smooth, adding more liquid (either the liquid from the can of chickpeas or some water) if necessary.
- Add the spinach, and pulse a few times, until it is incorporated but not pureed.
- Transfer to a bowl and stir in the artichoke hearts by hand.
- Serve with fresh pita chips!

THE BEST SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP
This is our best version of the classic party dip. It's savory and creamy with a slight tang from sour cream and Parmesan -- so hard to resist. We like to use frozen whole leaf spinach and chop it ourselves for more control over the finished texture of the dish.

- Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Spray a 1-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Put the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and garlic in a large bowl. Mix vigorously until combined and smooth. (If you prefer, you can use a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.) Add the spinach to the cream cheese mixture, breaking it up as you add it. Add the artichokes, mozzarella and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan, mixing to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan.
- Bake until the dip begins to bubble, 20 to 25 minutes. Turn the oven to broil and continue to cook, keeping an eye on it so it doesn't burn, until the top is golden brown, about 5 minutes. Serve warm with crackers, chips or toasted bread.
ARTICHOKES AND HUMMUS DIP
Subtly lemon-garlic flavored artichokes served with a refreshing chickpea and vegetable dip. Surprisingly filling and extremely easy! Use the artichokes to scoop up dip and enjoy!

- Pour enough water into a pot with a steamer insert to reach about 2 inches deep. Add 1 smashed garlic clove and half a lemon to the water. Put steamer insert into the pot and bring water to a boil. Arrange artichokes in the steamer insert and place a lid on the pot. Steam artichokes until a knife easily pierces the bottom of the largest artichoke, 30 to 45 minutes.
- Blend olive oil, cumin, sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of sea salt in a blender until smooth. Add green bell pepper and tomato; blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour chickpeas and yogurt into the blender; blend thoroughly. Thicken dip with more yogurt, if desired. Season with sea salt; serve with the steamed artichokes.

CHEF JOHN'S HOT SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP
I've always enjoyed hot spinach artichoke dip, but it always struck me as a little oily. I decided to try a mayo-less version, and then raised the stakes even higher by excluding the sour cream as well. To counter this, a bit more cheese was added, and the results were amazing. A rich, creamy, cheesy, not greasy dip.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat; stir in onions and pinch of salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft, about 5 minutes. Stir garlic into onions and remove from heat.
- Mix green onion mixture, spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, Gruyere, Parmigiano-Reggiano, hot sauce, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until combined.
- Spoon artichoke mixture into two ramekins. Top each with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until tops are golden brown and bubbling, about 25 minutes.

- Place the frozen spinach in a microwave safe bowl and microwave until defrosted. Drain off the excess liquid and set aside.
- Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and salt to a food processor fitted with an S blade. Process until the mixture becomes a paste. You may need to scrape down the sides as needed.
- With the motor running, drizzle in the ice cold water one tablespoon at a time. The hummus should transform from a thick paste to smooth dip.
- Add in the artichoke hearts and spinach and pulse until they are chopped up into small pieces and distributed throughout the hummus. Transfer the hummus to a bowl and drizzle on some extra olive oil and garnish with extra artichoke hearts, if desired. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
