INSTANT POT CORN ON THE COB
No need to heat up a big pot of water -- and your kitchen in the process -- just to enjoy some fresh summer corn. Cooking corn in a pressure cooker with minimal water allows the flavor to shine through, and it couldn't be easier. Serve simply with butter, salt and pepper.

Steps:
- Add 1 1/2 cups water to a 6-quart Instant Pot® and add the rack. Stand the corn on the rack, broken ends down (the corn will fit snugly). Follow the manufacturer's guide for locking the lid and preparing to cook. Set to pressure cook on high for 4 minutes (see Cook's Note).
- After the pressure-cook cycle is complete, follow the manufacturer's guide for quick release and wait until the quick-release cycle is complete. Being careful of any remaining steam, unlock and remove the lid.
CORN ON THE COB - BOILED
We have been given some fresh corn by friends, since it was so fresh I didn't want any of the corn flavour to be removed so I boiled the corn. This dish is simple yet quick could be used as a side dish or plate filler.

Steps:
- In a large pot, enough to hold the corn, fill it with water to cover the corn (the corn should float).
- On a medium heat allow the pot of water to boil. Once the water is boiled, add in the corn into the pot and cover. Cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how soft you want your corn.
- Drain water and remove corn on the cob. Be careful as cob will be extremely hot.
- Top the corn with preferred seasons, herbs and spices. I prefer salt, pepper and butter.
- Enjoy.

- 3. Using long tongs remove and place on a plate or in a bowl, then cover with foil until ready to serve. Serve with butter and salt to taste (optional as I think this has the perfect flavor).

- Removing the Husk. Starting at the top of the cob, pull back as much silk and husk as possible. Pull all the way to the bottom of the stem, until all of the husks are at the end of the cob.
- Break Off Cob Stem and Husks. Once you’ve pulled all of the husk and silk to the bottom of the cob, firmly break off the cob stem. The husks and stem will immediately come off in one piece.
- Remove Any Remaining Silk. Pull off any remaining corn silk. It is helpful to run the cob under cold water, and gently pull off any remaining strands that are stuck between the kernels.

- Place a trivet into Ninja Foodi. If you don’t have a trivet you can use a steamer basket that has very short feet on it. You want to raise the corn just enough so that it is not sitting in the water.
- Place the corn on the cob onto the trivet. Lay the corn down across the trivet. I was able to fit 5 ears of corn on one layer. If you are cooking a lot of corn on the cob you can stack them on top of each other or place them in the Ninja Foodi standing straight up.
