1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) apricot halves, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) pear halves, drained
1/4 cup maraschino cherries
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 whole cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground mace
Dash salt

Steps:

  • In a 2-1/2-qt. baking dish, combine the pineapple, peaches, apricots, pears and cherries; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat; pour over fruit. Bake uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly. Discard cloves. Serve warm.

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed and chopped

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients; gradually whisk in cranberry juice., In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, combine remaining ingredients. 2 teaspoons chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®)

Steps:

  • Mix pineapple, watermelon, mango, and green apple in a large bowl.

1/2 cup orange marmalade

1 cinnamon stick

Steps:

  • Combine the pineapple juice, marmalade and spices in a saucepan.
  • Boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and add the margarine and fruit.

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1 medium Bosc pear or Fuji apple

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 200 degrees F. Combine sugar and spice in a small bowl and mix until evenly combined.
  • Stem fruit and, using a mandoline, slice lengthwise into paper-thin slices, about 1/16-inch thick. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats and evenly space fruit on the sheets.
  • Sprinkle sugar mixture over fruit and bake until lightly brown and dry and crisp around edges, about 2 hours. Let cool on baking sheets. Chips can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 10 days.

2 quarts boiling water
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
3 cups orange juice
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole cloves, tied in cheesecloth
sugar (optional) or Splenda sugar substitute, as and if desired (optional)

Steps:

  • Pour 2 quart boiling water over the 8 teabags.
  • Brew 5 minutes, remove tea bags, set aside.
  • While doing the above boil 2 Celsius each water and sugar together for10 minutes, or until sugar is disolved, to make syrup.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Bring backto boil and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Remove cloves and cinnamon.
  • Serve hot.
  • Allow each person to sweeten as they choose.

1 (15 ounce) can peach slices, drained
1 (15 ounce) can pear halves in natural juice, drained

1 (14 ounce) jar spiced apple rings, drained
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup cream sherry

Steps:

  • Arrange drained fruit layers in large buttered casserole dish in the following order: pineapple, peach slices.
  • pear halves, apricot halves and spiced apple rings.
  • Combine flour and brown sugar and mix well with the melted butter and creme sherry in a sauce pan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Pour over fruit, cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Remove from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature before baking for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees, or until hot and bubbly.
  • NOTE: Cooking time refers to both cooking and chilling time.
